New Wolf — Hotel in Zona Metropolitană Brașov

This was the second time i choose this hotel. An year ago we visited this hotel and we had a decent experience, our main attraction was their pool with heated water. Now things were diferent. We stayed 4 days and in all of them the watter was cold. The pool was empty all the time, everyone waited for the jacuzzi witch had heated watter but just 4 peoples fit in it..so it was disapointing. We spoke with many peoples from their staff but every one of them started to tell lies, diferent lies. One of them said that because peoples left the door open in one day the watter cooled, another one said that they have some problems with the sensors and they can not heat the watter, and diferent others storys. Anyways, all the peoples were disapointed about that, but we were more because we knew that in the past they heated the watter and some of the peoples didint know that and thought that the temperature of the watter was the same like that all the time. Besides this, we had another problem, we didint had internet conexion in our room, something was not working. Again they started to tell diferent lies. I asked them if there was problems in the past with the internet conexion in that room and they said no, and after that i found out from another person from their staff that in that room the internet conexion didint worked anytime. They sent a person to try to resolve the problem but he was totaly unprepared for that. (It was a man who make all the things there, cut the grass, work on electricity problems, sanding wood, all kind of things..something like an universal man) witch was dressed very poor. Another problem was with the wireless conexion from the hotel witch was not working, or the signal was very small. About the restaurant i can say that the food is not very special, its poor, and the very unconfortable thing is that the waiters seem upset all the time witch gives you a strange sensations. You wont see any one of them smile one time, and that is very unconfortable, you cant eat there and be relaxed.In one word, our vacation was awfull,we wont go there again, there are many other better choices and i am sad that we dididnt know this before...

Stayed at the wolf for a couple of nights, and yes not bad at all, rooms were adequate, clean and great views over Bran castle, the pool area was also great, wish they'd put coffee in the rooms though. |Resturaunt. |Okay mixed feelings on this the food was brilliant, traditional Romanian dishes which is what I wanted to experience were all very good and cooked to a great standard, the staff in the resturaunt were also friendly apart from one who I believe maybe the resturaunt manager, wow how one person can let down a great experience, bad attitude, not friendly, not bothered, stands there playing videos on his phone all evening, 21:00 we asked for a coffee before eating, just one coffee for a member of our group, the waitress went and asked him, he grinned at her and said "no coffee" seriously, he just could not be bothered, he wasn't welcoming, he made no interaction with customers, then around 23:00 he came out and sat with a random group of locals who turn up throughout the night and then puts the keys in and out of the door looking at us on every occasion because he wanted us to leave, when you walk in he just looks at you horrified basically because I think he's scared to do any work, I could see how he could come across as quite intimidating, actually it was embarrassing for our friends who go there every year as a family group and had spoken very highly of the resturaunt, I can actually see the reason the restaurant was empty every night...

I stayed here for one week in August 2014. The experience was extremely disappointing.||1. Rooms have lockers which force you to slam the door in order to close it. So imagine that you stay in a hotel room trying to get some sleep and you will hear all the rest of guests slamming their doors .... awful - what a relaxation||2. Cleanness - it was unbelievable dirty - the bathroom is terrible as well as the terrace of the room. The daily cleaning procedure was to replace used towels and put some toilet paper. And this in the best case scenarios. No vacuum, no cleaning the bathroom , nothing (see the pictures)||3. Staff - extremely unfriendly. The waiters and some receptionists seemed very disturbed by the fact that they have to deal with tourists .... however smoking in the hotel reception, seems as very enjoyable activity for them. The staff looks very disengaged and demotivated to do their job. ||4. The hotel is located at the main road, which brings a lot of noise ||5.
