I just returned from the settlement "Listvyanka " on lake Baikal where I like to spend some time on my birthday It was the 4th time I chose the hotel "Krestovaya Pud" for my two days stay. I always feel great and comfortable here.as it offers a lot of facilities.. This year there appeared one more building of the hotel with cosy rooms, well lit with a big-screened TV .available Wi-Fi, and with an amazing view of the lake easily seen from the balcony or/and through the room window.. There are new .comfortable soft mattresses on beds... Tea and coffee bags and a kettle are offered for customers. The location of the hotel is nice , with no crowds of people..around.. The polite and peaceful staff is at disposal for day and night.. There is a coffee machine in the entry hall with coffee. kissel and hot water available.. The meals are tasty,, and the service is great and discreet..with warm and cozy atmosphere. Anyway, I would advise the hotel for my friends and acquaintances . I wish the hotel many guests .and want to thank the management and staff of the hotel for their...
Read moreAbsolutely loved this place—more like a cozy little chateau than a typical hotel. Our room had a full kitchen, a fantastic balcony with a gorgeous view, a super comfy bed, and the most bizarre key I’ve ever used (which somehow made it more fun). It was incredibly romantic. We loved wandering the quiet streets nearby, admiring all the quirky, character-filled houses.||It’s not right in the center of town, which honestly felt like a plus. You’re steps from the winter fair on the ice, and you avoid the swarm of tourist buses entirely.||Don’t skip the on-site restaurant—it’s genuinely good. And if you’re staying just a few days, bring a few groceries. Without a car, your options in town are pretty limited.||Just a heads-up: the Wi-Fi’s spotty (par for the course in Russia), and getting back to the hotel involves either hiking up a hill or conquering a long staircase. Definitely arrange a taxi for drop-off and pick-up—you won’t want to drag your bags...
Read moreThis is the worst hotel ever! They put you up in a room in the middle of nowhere... you have to climb up thousands of steps with your heavy luggage. .. you arrive to find out that you have absolutely not enough utilities, you try to give the reception a call but the phone is not working... you call the reception on your mobile phone, paying lots of money on international call just to be able to get a hold of someone at the hotel... and they tell you that they cannot help you unless you give them the NAME of your building AS WELL AS YOUR ROOM NUMBER! How the hell do I know what you decide to call these sheds! I still have no shampoo to shower and I'm stuck on this god forsaken hotel room. If it wasn't for the stupid guided tour that I took, I wouldn't be in this hotel in the first place! Don't ever make the mistake of chosing this hotel to stay on your...
