Gostevoy Dom Voskreseniye — Hotel in Хужирское сельское поселение

An awesome meal we had prepared & cooked by beautiful people at this homestay, Guesthouse Voskresenie. Never expected a full 3 course meal not at all at 400 rubles per person, being served one after another following proper Russian menu & dining style. Not to forget they were all very delicious from salads, to grilled fish Russian style with roasted potatoes & tomatoes. And to complete the meal a vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce and Russian black tea. We felt so heart warming & welcomed in this stay. Always have our meals by the fireplace it feels so authentic & warmth of course. For coffee lovers, you will like their freshly made coffee at 100 rubles each and a variety to offer. ||A note: We first booked to stay on Dec 30th but been advised there will be no boat service on Jan 02, 2017 for our departure to Irkutsk. Managed to get in touch with homestay owner via WhatsApp, she is very helpful & friendly. She writes good English too. Finally we arrived on Dec 31st & spent a memorable New Years Eve in this village of 1500 people. Beds were nicely done. Rooms were cosy, artistic & properly insulated. Shower was slightly small area for us Asians, not sure about others. But overall a very satisfying stay & we will be staying again when we do...

We have stayed here 2 nights and it was beyond expectations! The location of this guesthouse is excellent. Just a few minutes from the Shaman rock. The beautiful rooms are clean, comfortable and have a really nice atmosphere. The restaurant (with balcony when it is warm) is nice and the food is very tasty. We especially loved the Russian soup! The breakfast is even 3 courses (!) and the coffee is definitely the best we had in the whole of Russia. But the best feature of this accommodation are the people! They speak very well English, we were welcomed extremely friendly, they have arranged all our transfers and tours, and everything with a smile. In August 2018, I and my wife accommodated into Guesthouse Voskresenie which provided the quality service for us in the whole course. ||||The most impressive thing is that the staff immediately ran out by 100 m (my finger pointed to the building shown in the photo) to get a table-cover while me and my wife had coffee with cake only (as the photo).||||Anyway, this hotel is highly recommended by its quality...
