This may not be the easiest place to find but if you are seeking a comfortable, quiet, clean night's stay, this is a good choice. Friendly reception staff, minutes away from the metro station that can transport you to the Kremlin, and a marvelous breakfast buffet add up to great value for the money. During my visit, the hotel was fairly empty but I was told that often large organized tour groups spend the night so you may find it a bit more crowded in the restaurant. There are numerous cafes and shops in the adjacent area if you need to wander about but don't expect to run across any sightseeing attractions in the neighborhood; you will need to take a taxi or metro. Two of us stayed for two nights over a weekend on business. The rooms were ok with comfortable beds. I had hot water but my colleague had to complain at least twice before she got hot water. There was free wifi which worked well in the rooms, the lobby and the restaurant. Breakfast was very mediocre and staff were slow to replenish the buffet. The lobby bar was closed and there was no room service. A closed party in the restaurant on the Saturday evening could be heard on the floor above, while any movement on the same floor underlined the total lack of soundproofing.
