Royal Hostel 905 — Hotel in Novosibirsk

|you can easily spend some time here, theres a nice sofa in the lobby with a tv and a small kitchen area. |if you can speak russian maybe the staff will be more friendly but if not, dont expect them to say hello, goodbye or even smile. i didnt feel welcome at all.|they dont do registration of foreigners and dont even know what it is.|the room was clean buy very noisy, you can hear the people talking in the kitchen even when the door is shut and the light from the corridor shines into the room so i woke up everytime someone switched it on at night. the bathroom was always occupied, theres only two in the whole hostel, and there where not many guests. imagine the hostel beeing full!|Good thing is, its close to the train station. So you can go away quickly.|all in all its an ok hostel to stay in, but i wouldnt go...

We were served during check-in by someone who didn't make any effort to understand us. Pictures were taken from every stamp in our passport, also the ones that didn't had anything to do of our trip in Russia. Without any explanation of the reasons behind it. This must be the first place we experienced this. We didn't receive a key of our room at the beginning. He expected us to leave our bags in the room unlocked. Je déconseille cet hostel. C'est ok pour une ou deux nuits en basse saison, si vous avez peu de budget et que vous n'êtes pas trop regardants. C'est notre 6 ème hostel en Russie et, de loin, le pire.

Il y a seulement deux salles de bain avec douche et toilette dedans. Le mitigeur de l'une des douches ne fonctionne pas, les poubelles ne sont pas vidées régulièrement et il n'y a pas de papier toilette. De plus sur deux sèche cheveux, l'un ne fonctionne pas. Le matelas du lit était à ressort et trop vieux pour être encore confortable. Pas de poubelle dans la chambre. La cuisine est petite et peu équipée, les casseroles et poêles sont sales ou cassés. Nous avons tout de même pu cuisiner un peu mais, suprise le lendemain : le reste du repas avait été piqué ainsi que quelques autres aliments qui étaient dans le frigo. Nous avions pourtant pris soin de tout bien ranger ensemble. J'ajouterai que l'ambiance de cet hostel n'est pas très agréable avec des gens qui regardent la télé en quasi permanence et à volume élevé. Nous avons surtout eu l'impression de déranger les habitants...
