I had a HORRIBLE experience at Micaval, in Sao Tome. The photos on the site do not match the accommodation. There are two buildings: one in a residential area and the other on a busy boulevard. The photos correspond to the unit of the avenue. It is next to a polluted stream, full os mosquitos, and a carpentry that makes noise all day, which comes to shake the building. There is no transparent pricing policy: the property's owner charged me what I he wanted for the six-piece laundry service and for picking me up at the airport (almost 50 EUR). I had power blackout no for two nights in the room. The air conditioning was insufficient for the equatorial climate of São Tomé. Also, I had not any internet. On the first day the owner granted me a limited 3G modem, so I had to buy my own internet.
