golden garden al corniche hotel — Hotel in Eastern Province

Liked: Location is near to the tourist destinations such as Dolphin village, Murjan Island, Corniche view. Also we can find everything in 15km circle.

Disliked · I expected the beach view from the room I booked. But once I reached I realized that there is no beach view from most of the rooms. We have to pay higher amount for the rooms with beach view and it is not mentioned in their ad. Also I did not felt privacy in my room because there was a door from my room to the nearest room which is closed but not sealed. I heard some unwanted sounds (Hope you can understand what i mean) from my nearest room. If you have a plan to stay with family you may get disappointed. In addition to this, as a guest I did not get a welcoming approach from the receptionist lady. But the staffs had...

I have mixed feelings about the place: the room looked clean but had a toxic smell which was very difficult to ignore. There were two of us in the room but only one towel. There was water all over the toilet floor (leaking from somewhere i couldn't figure) the landline was sitting on the sofa because they didn't bother putting a small side table (the space was there, plenty) There was parking but no space as on the dedicated hotel parking random people would park, the staf said. So we had to go around a few times and we parked on the street. The only good thing was the roof garden, where we spent most of our evening as the room stinked. I wouldn't go back to this hotel. It's a shame because they do have a nice place there they just need to put some effort...

ROOM was large and clean. Very limited covered parking. Locals use hotel parking for their own cars. Only 2 bath towels provided, no hand towels or wash cloths. Had to request toilet paper. One provided at arrival was not fresh roll. No food menus provided were in English. Pool was closed due to pandemic but not updated on their site.
