It is a modern hotel and has good services. But the way it handled me as a guest was not that professional compared to international chains (it is a local brand). I booked a room thru their reservation telephone number and stated that I want a quite room that is far away from elevator. But the receptionist who checked me in gave me a room that is facing an elevator. I came back to him asking for another room and he told me that only 2 rooms are available, which are this one and another one in the ground floor (noise was there). I requested an upgrade but he asked me to pay the difference and will not offer a free upgrade (which normally international and respected hotels chains will do to ensure your happiness). So I paid the difference and got a suite that is quite.
Moreover, there was no mirror at all except in the bathroom. So whenever you need a mirror you have to go to the bathroom!
The checkout process was not that professional. I had my breakfast then went to the reception to check out so that I then go to my room to get my luggage to save time as I had to attend an early meeting. The receptionist didn't check me out and asked me to go to the room to get my luggage first. When I was there someone came to check the minibar to make sure I have not used it. So they don't trust their guests. I have not been treated in this way in international hotels chains as they will make sure you are comfortable and will do their best to make you happy and return back to them. They will ask if I used the minibar and will charge accordingly if so. But the receptionist didn't ask and sent someone to check it (lack of trust).
I don't think I will come back to this hotel after this treatment. The 2 stars I gave it is only for hotel style and facilities. The only staff I was happy with are the staff available in the restaurant during my breakfast. I came to them before they open and they welcomed me and served me in a good way. Thanks to them.
There is another point which is the breakfast timing. It starts at 7:00 a.m. which I consider it late as it should be a little bit earlier.
The last point is about the heavy smell of the perfume they use for air in the hotel. I felt not comfortable with it.
In summary, I will stick with international hotels chains unless they have no...
Read moreI recently had an incredibly disappointing stay at this hotel. My experience began poorly right from the start, as there was no parking spot available for hotel guests. This created a significant inconvenience, especially after a long journey, as I had to find alternative parking quite a distance away.
Upon checking in, things did not improve. When I tried to enter my room, the key card didn't work. After several unsuccessful attempts, I had to trek back down to the reception to get it replaced. The staff at the reception did not seem particularly concerned about this inconvenience, which was frustrating.
When I finally managed to get into my room, I discovered that there was no one available to assist me with my luggage. I had to carry all my bags myself, which was quite a hassle. This lack of assistance highlighted the poor room service and the overall lack of attentiveness from the hotel staff.
The room itself was average at best, and considering the initial issues, it was not worth the hassle. Having traveled to 40 countries around the world and used booking services since 2015, I can confidently say that this was one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. The combination of no parking, malfunctioning room keys, and nonexistent luggage assistance made my stay extremely unpleasant.
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. There are certainly better options available that offer better service and more convenience for their guests. Save yourself the trouble and choose a different...
Read moreThe only good thing about the hotel is how clean it is. Otherwise everything is not up to the expectations especially when you consider the price and the hotel given stars (supposedly 4-star hotel). -The location is not too bad but wouldn’t say it was good. It is at least 30 mins driving from city attractions; especially when it gets crowded (and it always the case in Riyadh). -At check-in, we were given zero information about the hotel so we had to figure out everything ourselves. -Lobby area is not bad. -No one is out to welcome guest so we had to go and ask for bellboy to help us with the luggage (if you needed as we did). -Parking spaces are very very limited and unidentified. After parking there, you will struggle to get to the lobby; it seems like the parking is made for the events hall as its entrance is the first thing you’d see after parking (you could mistakenly enter a wedding hall). -Rooms are very small and walking spaces is limited. It has only one small window. We were given a baby cot that was very old and worn-out. -Bathrooms are smaller than you could imagine. -Service is insufficient and not up to the expectations; you need to ask for anything you expect to get regularly (like trash changing and daily room cleaning). -check-out is very long although no one was there other than me and...
