Garni hotel „Sučević“ — Hotel in City of Belgrade

I had a great stay here on many occasions. First of all, the hotel is in a quit area of Belgrade called Avala which is around 20 minutes from the centre and It is blissfully easy to find by car. The hotel parking is in a very secure, well-signed, car park directly next to the hotel. If you give them enough notice when booking they will arrange a pickup form the airport and all main transport stations. ||||I was greeted by extremely pleasant, English-speaking staff all around. A few minutes after I was shown to my room, they welcomed me with complementary drink - what a generous touch!||The authentic Serbian restaurant its situated on the ground floor of the hotel. I must say the food and locally produced vines and spirits are excellent. I have the homemade sausage every time I go (Domaca kobasic) it honestly beats any Argentinian steak. ||||The rooms are very spacious with a very comfortable bedd which have memory foam mattress. The Wi-Fi is reliable and fast. Breakfast was very nice - there was a nice selection of hot and cold items, various breads and pastries, local spreads, and bowls of whole fruit. ||||The best part of this hotel is definitely the staff. They are friendly and helpful. Multilingual night porter called Stevisa has me in stiches with laughter every time I visit the hotel. If you’re looking for night life guide look no further speak to the GM Luka who will get you on a guest list in every club in Belgrade and will probably also join you on your adventure. The food is really, really great, especially BBQ. We really enjoyed it as many times before. Unfortunately, the waiter yesterday was so rude that we will not visit this place again. We spent almost 2.5 hours in a restaurant, waiting for him to approach us. He did not speak at all, when he did, he was simple rude. At the end he brought us bill, we paid by card and them he came back to say that he had not charged one bottle of water! We paid it in cash, obviolsy he took it as a tip. I was travelling on business to Belgrade when I found this gem of a Hotel located on Avala. The room I stayed in was breathtaking, very comfortable and clean. The food in the Etno Restaurant was amazing and delicious, great mix of local cuisine and cuisines from around the world, what I believe is the best part about the restaurant is everything is organic including the red, white wine and Rakia. The staff are very profesional and very knowledgeable about the cuisines and drinks, they are all fluent in english.
