Hotel Šumarice — Hotel in City of Kragujevac

Wedding hall is great: big, bright, with enough space. Waiters are nice, fast and polite. Rooms are renovated, but I dont know where the architect worked before, because he did it all wrong: refrigerator is almost in the center of the room; you cant sit at the table because couch is too big and there is not enough space between the couch and the table; TV is strangely positioned on the center of the room-just next to the refrigerator; there is not a single spot in bathroom where you can put your glasses, underwear or towel; shower is positioned on the wrong corner of shower cabin, so water sprays all over the bathroom instead on the wall..... Breakfast was good. All in all, this is reasonably priced hotel, with clean rooms, good staff and fine breakfast, but they desperately need to hire some real architect for room organization...

Hotel was build in 1973. Almost everything is from that time. Rooms in our building are narrow. Originally designed as single bed, but upgraded to two beds room. No room even for your luggage. Bathroom is old. No hot water in the sink. Instead of toilet tissue there are napkins. Restaurant food is not what you expect from Serbia. I used to selebrate New Year in Serbia for last six years, and this is my worst time. Tables and seats are so closed to each other, that you can hardly stand or sit. Even more: to fit more people, they put tables outside the restaurant at the lobby. Celebration entertainment is poor. Musicians are awful. No champagne for the New Year. Breakfast is rather good.

So far, I've been to many hotels that were cheaper but better and cleaner. The smell of bugs is everywhere; honestly, I don't know who wins between the smell of bugs and spiders (bugs on the floor and window, spiders on the walls). The rooms stink, and on top of everything, in most rooms, the bathroom doors cannot be closed properly. The key cards usually don't work. The food is: better to starve than to eat that (the meat was okay, but still). You get one overcooked bug in your meal, and as an extra, a live bug for better taste. The location is excellent, and the hotel looks decent from the outside, but once I entered, I'd rather sleep on the grass...
