Hotel Botika — Hotel in City of Kraljevo

I recently stayed at Hotel Botika for a couple of weeks and couldn't be happier about my experience there. To be honest, this hotel set a new high standard for me- I wasn't expecting to find such a high quality hotel in Kraljevo, where I had some family matters to tend to (my family lives in a village nearby and I was visiting from North America). After my stay here I travelled around many countries in Europe for almost two months and have to say that Botika remained the very best one. I found myself wishing every night I was in another city that the hotel I was at was as good as Botika. So what is it that I loved so much about it? For starters, the double room is absolutely incredible. It was the biggest double room I had on my entire trip- absolutely massive, with large windows and a standard sized bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable. You have a variety of options to chose from for breakfast, all made fresh by the cook. It's not a buffet style breakfast, but all the options on the menu were great and I couldn't wait for breakfast every day. I even had dinner here a couple times, which was good as well. The staff were mostly very friendly and went above and beyond their call of duty by washing all my dirty laundry and laying it out nicely in my room when finished. The best part? They did it free of charge, while other hotels in other cities/countries charged ridiculous sums for the service. Of course we were sure to tip them for this kind gesture. The location isn't central like Hotel Turist, but I don't care because I had a car anyways. I recently had a wonderful stay at Hotel Botiga in Kraljevo, Serbia, and I cannot express how impressed my wife and I were with the entire experience. For me the plus point for this hotel was its close proximity to the bus and railway stations in Kraljevo. However 10 minutes walk you'll be in the town centre. ||||Entrance area was quite inviting, however the room condition wasn't perfect and a few maintenance issues were spotted. Some of the plasterboard wall between the room and bathroom was damaged. The bathroom floor tiles were a bit unsightly with the grouting stained. Also only one small towel provided. ||||On checking out in the morning, the night porter was still on duty and clearly he wasn't too familiar with running off my bill and using the credit card terminal.
