I read and booked based on the reviews. I can only wonder as to whether any of them are genuine. Check in was with a grumpy woman who barely made eye contact. The room is tired. The carpet and walls have stains. The headboard on the bed is so old the vinyl is cracking and dropping black flakes on the pillows. The thermostat was hard to navigate and, in any event, it turned itself off in the night and I woke up in an airless room and damp with sweat. Noises from passing cars in the night. The curtains are far from lightproof and I was awake at the 5 am dawn as the sun poured in. There is no printed guide for TV stations so I had to scroll through 660 screens to find CNN. The bathroom is old. The tiles have mildew. The toilet seat is too small for the bowl. The hair dryer makes noise but the fan does not work. I went to wash my hands and the sink sprayed water all over my front. I tried to dry my hands and clothes and found my hand wrapped in a very, very long black hair that was hiding in the hand towel (it was not mine!) ...
Read moreFirst of all: Worst hotel I needed to stay in Serbia for business trip.
The living room: Mattress is very old and worn out. The springs are coming through the mattress. In the bath: The cleaning service did not clean the bathroom well. I found a lot of hair from guests before. Additionally they removed the towels, that is in total great to have always a fresh one, but not if they are not bringing new ones and you are "running out" of towels for shower and hand wash. Also the equipment is damaged. The toilet brush is broken from the wall. The hair dryer is melted inside, seems that the automatic shutdown is not working and it smells from the melted plastic. Parking service: The parking slots were booked out at the first night so they gave me a parking place in the official park house. Next morning they gave me cash to pay the park ticket, but it was not enough so I had to pay by my own.
Only positiv point of stay is the location of the hotel that is directly in the center of Nis, near to the river and...
Read moreA bit outdated rooms, some ripped towels in the bathroom, some small tight parking in some small parking yard behind the hotel, food was kinda decent,so that's why I'm giving it 3 stars. And waiting personnel in the breakfast dinning area were really professional and I was truly surprised how much they're differentiating from the rest of the hotel employees. One of them found me a paper cup this morning, in order to have my coffee with the cigarette at designated smoking area, btw located at the very entrance(?!) literally right in front of the entrance sliding doors, the very entrance of the hotel. There's no price list for the mini bar in rooms, honestly filled with some nonsense and crap, but if You check the prices with the reception clerks, You'll be very negatively astonished with the prices. I find it cheeky. There's much more affordable and more acceptable hotels in that area, so You can check the other ones before You make any booking and reservation...
