PBG Hotel Subotica — Hotel in City of Subotica

Whole hotel smells of cigarettes, hallways and rooms. Carpets looks like never been cleaned. Room was decent size but stuffy, worn out furniture, walls are dirty, bathroom was really dirty, some of the previous guests was shaving and there was hairs everywhere, shower curtain is almost brown from dirt on the bottom. Light switches are brown form fingerprints. Linen had holes in it and the bed cover was probably never washed. Mattress was so worn out that you feel like the middle of your body is in the hole.||||As it was 30+C outside we needed to turn on air condition, but, remote control were no where to find. When we asked for it, reception lady told us to go to our room and check the type of air-conditioner and then she will check if she have a remote left for that type of AC, and, of course, to return it to her when we check out - if there was one left! ||||When you leave the hotel for the day you can leave your key on reception if you want, just leave it on the reception desk (because there was usually no one there) and when you return it will be waiting for you on the same spot on the desk and you just pick the one that belong to your room, or maybe from some other room...||||Hotel advertise free WiFi, and you can see the router in the hall but it is not possible to connect, we tried from 2 different laptops and mobile phones. ||||Breakfast... if you need one just find...

We arrived at 0130 at night and never felt that we were a problem. After the registrationprocess was completed we got our keys and we were told that we were more than welcome to come down, after leaving our luggage in the room, to have a drink or two before going to sleep. We spent two hours talking to the nice guy working before going to bed. Awesome! The room was clean, we slept like babies in the beds. No complaints there. If I were going to give the management a small tip it would be to look over the breakfast. It was ok, but nothing more than that. A bigger selection when it comes to bread, what to have on the bread would be nice. A plus for the veggies though, really tasty! Maybe offer both soft- and hardboiled eggs?||All in all though, good value...

Not only all rooms are fully equipped with all seeviced in this brand new hotel, you will find perfect hosts. We arrived on motorbikes, asked for a good restaurant.
