Villa Aleksandar — Hotel in City of Subotica

Villa Alexandar is a beautiful place where you can spend the perfect moments of relaxation and enjoyment. It was located on the very shores of the lake so that the swans are welcomed. The rooms are quite ok, although they are foreseen for staying without children. The beautiful terrace of the restaurant also overlooks the lake shores. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this place! When we checked in, we got an offer to pay additional 10 euro for using swiming pool / sauna facilities. It was quite late and the pool was closing soon, but nice guy from the staff told us that this is not a problem, and we will be able to use the swiming pool also on the following day. The next day the nice guy was out, and another guy (quite rude) informed us that we are not allowed to use the swiming pool unless we pay for additional day (!!!) Nice villa within walking distance to the park/zoo.||Pros: very nice setting on the lakeshore, quiet with lots of ducks and swans. Nice pool, sometimes it gets too crowded. But if it’s not crowded, then you can spend some quality time laying on the sunbed. Breakfast not very rich, but enough.
