Fantastic place. Ascott Raffles Place has been my go-to hotel to stay since 2020. This hotel is very close to Raffles Place MRT, so this really allows you to get to your destinations very easily without sweating your ass off under the big humid Singapore weather. The front desk agents are extremely helpful if you need anything. I have been always having very LONG AND EXTENSIVE email exchange with the two front desk managers Fidah and Syafiqah even before I get there every single time I travel to Singapore. The front desk managers Fidah and Syafiqal are extremely helpful and they always listen to my feedback closely and always work with me to make sure I have everything I need to have a great stay with Ascott Raffles Place. My room was also kept extremely clean by the senior housekeeper Alma. Alma was very helpful and friendly throughout and she definitely loves her job. Her biggest strength is that she will do everything within her control to keep the tenants happy. Now, this hotel has been built in 1955 and as far as I can tell, there were very little retrofit done to it. The furniture and other house appliances are extremely aged imo, so because of this I will need to deduct a star from this review. And please, implement the ability to allow us to use mobile keys to get into our rooms (most of the 5 stars hotels these days have features to allow tenants to unlock their rooms using mobile devices). Overall, I would definitely continue to stay in Ascott Raffles Place when I travel to Singapore in the future, and this will definitely be my potential residence to stay if I ever need to stay in Singapore for a long term period.

Very nice hotel I spend 30 days in this hotel in a 1 bed room service apartment. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The amenities as the swimming pool and the gym as the 19th floor are very nice and give you a glimpse about the business area overview from the swimming pool view. I got the room 1008, very nice 1 bed room apartment, quite big I should admit. The kitchen is fully functional with all the stuff needed, microwaves, fridge, pan, dishwasher, etc… The living room is super comfort and cosy with Bose sound system. The bedroom as well is quite large with a mini sofa, a tv and a desk. The dressing and bathroom are good as well Internet connection is quite good, I worked from the hotel with video call and so on. Never had issue. From the TVs I never succeed to use the airplay feature to display my phone or pc screen there. I don’t know if this is a local issue however I never got this problems in other hotels. The area is close to metro lines ( blue, red and green). Less than 10 minutes walking from Marina Bay Sands Plenty of shops, restaurants and 7 eleven very close by the hotel. One improvement point should be the light. The room is not very bright and the installed light are not enough sufficient to provide a real bright light. I feel it always dark, even with curtains open. So always light on, even in daylight. The mini light appliances over the bed are quite used and do not stand correctly. They need to be re-fixed again I guess. Other than that, very happy of this accommodation that I used as temporary accommodation, time for me to find my real accommodation as I just arrive in Singapore.

We had a good 2 night staycation at Ascott Raffles Place during Christmas. We booked the Cutler Suite, and were given the room on the 20th floor. The room was extremely quiet, large and spacious and had a luxurious bathroom. We also enjoyed the swimming pool on the 19th floor, and some of the snacks in the common room. There are also some board games provided in the common room. The staff were helpful and polite during our stay. A few things that could’ve been improved: - The hotel corridors on our floor had no air conditioning, which made it feel warm when we exited our rooms. Although we understand that it might be for energy saving, the air was very humid and stale as a result. - The air circulation within the rooms are minimal due to the location of the air vents. It would be more comfortable for guests to set the air conditioning to a lower temperature so as to not feel too warm at night. - The room was extremely dark. Due to the design of the TV area having a dark wooden panelled wall, without any alcove lighting or lamps it was too dark to see anything in that corner of the room at night. While the toilet was brightly lit, the room could use 1 or 2 floor lamps. - The sizing of the bedroom slippers could be slightly larger. Nonetheless, given the pricing of hotel rooms in Singapore and the vicinity, as well as the sizing of hotel rooms in Singapore, we found that our suite was of a great value and we are happy to stay again.

Worst staycation hotel to go to EVER! Will not recommend to stay in this place at all.

First of all, they do not allow early check in, which is understandable. But most of us will expect to at least check in on time and trying to full utilize the time in our rooms during a staycation. Arrived at the hotel at 3pm, saw 2 couples sitting at the lobby, I assuming they were there earlier and were in the same situation as us. Was told to wait as our room was not ready, they have given us a free upgrade to a room with a balcony. So i asked the person roughly what time will we get our room keys? He said he will check. But please wait. 30 minutes later, there was no updates. So I didn't want to wait further, so I told them I do not want the upgrade. Imagine waiting for the balcony room, i might be sitting in the lobby for another hour like the other couple or other reviews that was shared.

Second, service of the staffs at the lobby was clearly very poor. They do not attend to guest, when I was about to check if the Grab food delivered was mine, the floor manager just stare at me and walked away. Well done. The other staff when I asked where is the lobby pick up point, he just reply me rudely, THERE!

Lastly, don't expect to call room service, they either do not pick up or when you ask for extra amenities and water, they will tell you that you are here for short stay. They cannot provide.

They label themselves as a 5 star? But i think their service is just 1 star. Super disappointed. I read some reviews, I saw the hotel replying stating that they will review. I think after months of reviewing and receiving so many complaints, the hotel have no intention of improving. So why bother replying to guest's reviews, ?

I am a frequent patrons of hotels for staycation, this is by far...

We stayed at the Ascott for four nights and were completely and totally impressed by the rooms, the amenities, and the service. While it is not a full-service hotel, it has all the services that any reasonably low-maintenance traveller needs, including daily room cleaning and toiletries, free wi-fi internet, laundry service (which you'll never need because the room comes with a washer/dryer), a gym, and an amazing pool. It does not have room service or a dedicated concierge (though the front desk staff are very helpful). The best part is that despite missing only a few services and having superior rooms, the Ascott is usually cheaper than comparable hotels.

The rooms are new and modern studio apartments, with full kitchenette, spacious bathrooms with rain shower room, washer/dryer, and an incredibly comfortable large platform bed, all decorated very tastefully in modern minimalist decor. You also get free bottled water and some soda!

The gym is small but well equipped, and the pool is an amazing large rooftop glass-walled design that makes you feel like you're swimming in an aquarium.

The only potential downside is the location, depending on your preferences. It's in the heart of the financial district, so if you're going for work in that area, it's perfect. If you're a tourist, it's slightly removed, but still within walking distance from core tourist areas like Boat Quay, the Esplanade, and the Marina Bay Sands. A decent hawker center can be found at Lau Pa Sat just a block away and there's a Din Tai Fung underground across the street. In any case, if you want to go elsewhere, the subway station is right across the street and there is a taxi stand right outside.

Finally, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. We were pleased with everything...

Ascott Raffles Place is the epitome of modern luxury combined with a prime location in Singapore’s business district. I had the pleasure of staying here recently, and it was an experience I won't forget.

The moment I arrived, I was impressed by the sleek, contemporary architecture and the welcoming atmosphere. The hotel’s location couldn’t be more perfect — surrounded by vibrant business and cultural landmarks, making it a prime choice for both business and leisure travelers.

One of the highlights of my stay was the infinity pool on the rooftop. The view from here was absolutely breathtaking, offering a stunning skyline of Singapore. It felt like a hidden oasis in the heart of the city, and I spent hours enjoying the view while lounging by the pool.

The rooms are spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed. I appreciated the comfortable furnishings, with a blend of warm tones and cool textures, giving the room a relaxed yet sophisticated feel. The attention to detail was impeccable, and it felt like a home away from home.

The service at Ascott Raffles Place was exceptional. The staff were friendly, professional, and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were taken care of. Whether it was helping with directions or recommending local attractions, they went out of their way to make my stay comfortable.

For those who enjoy great food, the hotel is surrounded by excellent dining options, so you’ll never be short of choices. Whether you want a quick bite or a gourmet experience, there’s something for everyone.

Overall, I highly recommend Ascott Raffles Place to anyone seeking a stylish, comfortable, and luxurious experience in the heart of Singapore. The combination of its amazing pool, top-notch service, and excellent location makes it a...
