Penzión Monty Ranch Štôla — Hotel in Štôla

We enjoyed a nice outdoor ride at the Monty Ranch. It was a bit hard to communicate with the owner on the phone as he didn't speak English and only a little German, but we managed to make an appointment. Due to rain it was rescheduled to the next day but this was fine. The owner was very silent but this was mainly due to language issues. In the end we however enjoyed a beautiful ride through the mountains with beautiful views on the high Tatra mountains. We communicated a bit in a mixture of English, German and some hand gestures but this worked out fine and the owner turned out very friendly in the end, relaxing a bit more whilst the ride progressed, took some pictures of us on the horses and offered a drink...

We spent 1 week at Monty Ranch. The owner has no English but made an effort to help and communicate, so be prepared to very little interactions with him. It worked fine for us as we were looking for relaxation and needed nothing special. ||The ranch is perfect for little children as you have some "attractions" around like animals, play field, trampoline etc. The ranch is located 15 minutes drive from Poprad, where you can buy everything. Absolutely amazing location and stay. It's a small hotel with a farm, great for families, bigger groups and couples. There are horses, rabbits, birds, cats, hens and other animals, perfect for kids to explore. Big playground with several pieces of equipment, also an outside area to chill. The host amazing and very accommodating. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast is good, I seen also dinner served for a bigger group. On a doorstep to High Tatras, will be looking to come back...
