Penzión Jozef a apartmány — Hotel in Demänovská Dolina

We had a lovely skiing break with friends and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Penzion Josef. The owner, Martin, is very friendly and welcoming. Our room on the top floor, facing the river, was nice and cosy. The bed mattresses were extremely comfortable; however, the pillows could be better. The sound of the river was incredibly soothing—we kept the window open to fall asleep and wake up to it, which was amazing.

Breakfast was delicious, with generous portions served daily upon advance order. We could have as much coffee and tea as we wanted. It was also lovely to chat with Martin. There is a small sauna, which was a great addition to our stay. You can book it for private use, and the ambience—with relaxing music, water, and candlelight—made for a delightful experience.

As I remember nice vacation two years ago. Everything just very good. Nice staff. Very adequate value for good conditions. Here you've got special room for ski equipment with boots dryer. You can order breakfast for 5 euro per day (as i remember) - and it will be different variations on your order. Distance to first slope of Jasna - 10-15 minutes driving. Also the great thing here is big, cosy, open for every guest hall on first floor, where breakfast serves. In oter times you can use it as you wish - here is kettle and microwave oven. We have made New Year party here for our company - like in retaurant. Also there is great sauna with exit to ice cold creek. But be aware of slipperly wet roks and low level, if you decided...
