Penzión U Marsa — Hotel in Donovaly

I came to this Penzión for a week, after a long and exhausting journey from Austria, and to put it bluntly, I was extremely pleased with my choice. This Penzión is very comfortable, calm and pleasant. The rooms are very clean, well-groomed, they have nothing superfluous, but at the same time there is everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The beds are very comfortable and do not creak. You can't hear the noise of other guests outside the walls. All the furniture is in excellent condition, the shower room has all the necessary accessories, and the corridor and the hall are furnished with beautiful and harmonious decorations and information posters, maps for tourists. All this further complements the already beautiful, relaxing and insanely pleasant atmosphere. There is a dining area where you will be served a delicious breakfast, as well as nice and modern music and no less stunning decor. The Internet here is also good, there were no drawdowns in speed. The Penzión itself is in a great location with incredible views of the mountains and forests. Nearby there is an ATM, an inexpensive cafe, a transfer and exits to the forest from different sides. I would like to pay special attention to the owners of this hotel. At the well-equipped reception, I was warmly and very happily greeted by a woman named Sylvia, with whom I spoke several times over the following days. She is fluent in both Slovak and German. It was a pleasure to communicate with such an interested, pleasant and comfortable person. I was presented with special information books with the help of which I learned a lot about the Tatras and Donovaly, and I could always get an answer to any question, as well as the help that they were always ready to provide me here. As a result, I got wonderful emotions and an amazing vacation, thanks to the most comfortable and pleasant atmosphere of this Penzión and the very warm, as well as professional and pleasant attitude of its owners towards me. We had a wonderful time at the pension. Sylvia the host is a very warm and welcoming woman, she served great breakfasts and tryed to help us with reservations and costume refunding. We came with our 3 childen, 14, 11 and 3. They liked the place a lot and were sad to leave. It is about 20 minutes drive from Ruzomberok , from which it is easy drive on the highway D1 to the main attractions|In the area.||Overall, I highly recommend this place for a family...

Počas putovania na SNPčke nás na hrebeni chytila masakrálna búrka s hromami a bleskami. Hoci sme pôvodne nemali plány prespať na Donovaloch, zachcelo sa nám civilizácie a tak sme sa tu ukempili. V penzióne sme mali šťastie na poslednú voľnú izbu, kde nás čakal welcome drink v podobe minerálky a Tatraniek - bolo to tak milé, pani majiteľke sme totiž počas rozhovoru vysvetlili, že ideme z hôr a sme špinaví a mokrí. Izba bola pre nás oázou pokoja a bezpečia. Veľké prekvapenie boli raňajky - domáca nám dokonca zabezpečila bezlepkový chlieb a bohaté bezlepkové raňajky. Na rukách by som ju vtedy nosila. Pri odchode nám venovala pár máp s lokálnymi zaujímavosťami. Odvtedy sa tu pravidelne vraciame.
