New York Pension — Hotel in Dunajská Streda

I stayed here for 1 night to watch the UEFA Under 21 Final match - England v Czech Republic in Dunajska Streda. ||The accomodation was a 10 minute walk from the railway station. When I arrived the reception desk didn't appear to be open. I put my head around a corner and a staff member was there. ||The room was excellent, so was the breakfast too. ||The only problem I had is that I could not get back into the accomodation after going to the football match and having a few beers at an Irish Bar in the town. ||I got back to the accomodation at 01.00am. The gated entrance to the accomodation was closed. My electronic key would not open the gate. I was stuck. I tried time and time again but nothing happened. I wasn't happy. ||Eventually, I rang the hotel telephone number. So one answered and they were able to open the gate remotely. ||I told reception the following morning and they said there shouldn't have been a problem. But, clearly there was. They didn't apologise. ||This accomodation is excellent. But, I wouldn't book it again because they don't have 24 hour reception. Great guesthouse, lovely owners. Quality room for what you pay for, we had an apartment and my daughter said it was 5 stars. The room was brand new, with a high-quality bed, a built-in coffee maker and a small terrace. We felt very comfortable there, rich breakfast, fruit, eggs in various ways and plenty of vegetables. And I must also praise the parking, plenty of space. However, be careful, because the guesthouse also offers small rooms, and you should definitely not choose them. We would love to come...

Strávila jsem v hotelu 4 překrásné dny. Pokoj luxusní, moderní, čistý, dokonale vybavený, koupelna naprosto luxusní. K dispozici trezor, varná konvice (tuším i čaj a káva 2v1), balená voda, lednice, velká TV, podsvícení, wifi, fén, a spoustu dalšího. Na hotelu byl klid, pokoje skvěle odzvučněné a personál velmi příjemný. Snídaně byly bohaté a výborné, bez problému zařídili bezlepkové pečivo. Restaurace čistá, elegantní a příjemná. Obsluha na vysoké úrovni. Cítíte se zde jako vážený host. Jídla i drinky velmi chutné. Thermal park v docházkové vzdálenosti. Vstupné do thermal parku na celé 4 dny jsme koupili na hotelu, tudíž nebylo třeba stát dlouhé fronty před vstupem. Při procházkách doporučuji parčík pod společenským domem, kde je krásná fontána Tří Grácií. Ovšem jinak mě Dunajská zklamala, je velmi zanedbaná, neudržovaná a špinavá. Ve večerních hodinách moc podniků nefunguje. Tudíž nějaké noční posezení ve městě je nereálné.
