Hotel City Galanta — Hotel in Galanta

Good location. Amazing sound insulation. Our room was spacious and clean, but we were unable to start the TV. The receptionist explained that the TV remote was out of order and offered another room which we gladly accepted. Unfortunately, that other room had seemingly not been use for a while, there were lots of spiders, the walls and ceilings had deep cracks, so did the bathroom tiles and the toilet porcelain, the toilet seat had seen much better days too, some bathroom elements were rusty and in need of replacement, clean but rather worn out towels had a logo of a different hotel (and some holes!), bedside lamps were broken. But the desk, wardrobe closet, fridge and the beds looked brand new and the bed linen was spotless and as white as snow. ||The room was facing a very busy roundabout in the centre of the town, with seriously heavy traffic and we excpected at least some noise. But, to our greatest surprise, it was so unbelievably quiet and the beds were so amazingly comfortable that we had fantastic sleep and a really good rest. ||Breakfast was pretty basic, with limited options. !!! NIKDY VIAC !!! Zarezervoval som hotel pre moju rodinu, ktora isla 900 km z Nemecka, ked tam prisli, hotel bol zamknuty a nikde nikto. Tak som tam volal, kde mi arogantny pan Danko (asi majitel) povedal, ze su zavrety a zabudli mi dat vediet....vraj je to realita a stava sa to, vobec nic si z toho nerobil....toto je vrchol debilizmu a amaterizmu, tomuto hotelu a panovi Dankovi sa zdaleka vyhybajte, radsej sa vyspite vonku na lavicke, budete to ma zdarma a nikto Vam tu lavicku nezavrie bez toho, aby Vam o tom dali vediet....odpad cely hotel aj s majitelom....hovoril som o tom aj znamym, ktori pana Danka osobne poznaju a vraj toto je jeho bezny pristup, nic dobre som o nom od...
