The hotel is geared to families providing good facilities and activities for children. The setting is very nice in the Low Tatras with great views and a nearby golf course--Grey Bear. ||We felt that our room was small for 3 persons, whereby the main bed is against the wall and there was a pull down single bed for a third person. We had a balcony which was very nice, but there were rooms on the back side facing the forest and parking area.||Breakfast was good with a egg station and various local Slovakian specialties. It gets busy with families so its best to go early. There is a nice sitting area outside of the restaurant that is perfect for sitting and relaxing. The pool and spa area is small for the size of the hotel. There is one jacuzzi and medium size pool with a separate kids pool. Nevertheless, all the kids were in the main pool and jacuzzi with their families, so the kids area remained empty while we were there.||Overall, if you have kids, especially young ones, then this is a perfect place. If you seek peace and quiet in a natural and lovely surrounding, then perhaps not going during the summer or high season would be recommended. We also thought that we paid a high price for this hotel stay compared to other hotels in Slovakia that were equal in the...
Read morePoor service. -Generally the staff at the restaurant is sub-par. Eg. Not getting served drinks at dinner unless we asked for it. After asking for a waiter to cone to our table she gives us attitude. Or for example they expect guests to go out of their way instead of the other way around.
Poor food Choice of food during breakfast and dinner buffet is limited. Quality of breakfast and dinner buffet is mediocre. Far below my expectations of a 4 star hotel costing 400/night.
Other Parking places close to the hotel are limited and when you arrive at the hotel later in the fay you have park 100-200m from the hotel. Which sucks when carrying skis, boots, etc.
The hotel itself, the wellness and location are great. But there are obviously big issues with the restaurant and restaurant staff. Unfortunate as it has huge potential.
Generally disappointing compared to other places for a similar price. The experience could be fantastic, but has been sub-par thus far. I won't return here for a while. However hopefully the management notices the issues and turns it around. Partizan could be one of the top hotels in Slovakia if the owners/staff...
Read moreUpdate after hotel reply: either reply is done via AI bot or this just confirms my feelings from review. First of all I cancelled booking due to sickness and never booked any hostel...I was aware of conditions but communication I get during my requests and then cancellation process was far from four star. I am really disappointed you are killing good ideas by low level services...
Nice hotel, lot of activities for children, kind personal, kitchen with local products. Rooms small but ok for sleeping. Nice welness and Ajax farm (how ever communication with Farm was not smooth from reception contact to onsite).
Be aware of conditions when you book. My personal experience in regard of organization of personal celabration was very poor from room reservation to food options. Keep to web page booking that is best option! This experience was in big contrast with what we have experienced on site. If you want personal celebration and you are not wedding or company meeting do not expected any help...
All in all - book your stay, enjoy it, do not ask us anything. All that you can get is already on page...Far from what you expect...
