I´ve stayed at this hotel during a business meeting. I was located at the dependence Golf, 100m from the hotel Stupka.||Lets start with the location - lovely nature, quiet place. This was nice.||The hotel Stupka itself is average.||Meeting room was nice, but we have to walk 2 floor down stairs to the toilets.||The breakfast was not so good. Choice not big enough. Just one sort of juice (grapefruit), coffee not good.||The food for lunch and dinner was average.||I was chocked by the service. Once we came for a lunch (they knew we will come) and we discovered, that all chairs are wet as they were just deep cleaning them. There was no dry chair to sit. So we got some towels to sit on them. I ordered a starter. They forgot it even if I remainded them twice. We were sitting all 10 people at the same table. They started to bring a meal for one person, then for another. So at the end, some people have already finished their meal, but the other didn´t even receive it. Then they forgot to bring some ordered drinks. When I have finished my main course, they brought me the starter :D. Well, it was a disaster. But not only during this lunch. The service was the same during the whole day.||The room at dependence Golf - I didn´t like it at all. Dirty walls, dirty carpet, dirty tables, curtains with a hole, towels with a hole, trash bin full when I came first day. Well, this place is...
Read moreWe had the "Presidential Suite", the most expensive room in the hotel. To get to the room we had to drag our bags through the restaurant, outside and up stairs. No baggage help; no elevator (there was one but I think it was service elevator, I would not get in it); in the morning before 7 the restaurant door was locked and we had to traipse down another flight of stairs, go through the wellness area and up a flight to the lobby. The room, while large, had NO SHOWER, just a bathtub. It did have a very nice bed and decent lines, although the towels were linen service scratchy and thin.||||The breakfast was OK; dinner was OK, although a cheese plate billed as "aged cheeses: contained only Brie and some goat cheese (a rip-off). Service was not great, limited English, desultory desk staff.||||I would never stay here again and pay over $120 euros for one night! This was barely a two star hotel in my opinion. We tried to move next door to the much nicer (at least in public areas) Partizen, but they were full.||||Unless you like to stay in youth hostels, find...
Read moreWe expected better service for the price. There were minor inconveniences in the room. E.G., the bedside lamps are useless and the heating is loud all night. The biggest disappointment was the dinner. The details of the half-board service weren't clear at all. What is "you can choose anything" at the reception, got completely different at the restaurant. You can choose from the cheap side of the menu only. The second evening they were not even open, so we had to go to another place where they served us on behalf of the hotel. The menu is poorly translated into English. They serve bryndza instead of goat cheese. The pork pie is something else too. Much more head cheese. The options for beverages are very limited. They burnt my sausages. Almost a third of them were unedible, plainly coal. The not burnt part was good though. I believe they are not really ready for international guests. With a bit better communication a lot of problems could be solved. I am not familiar with the other places in this area, but next time we would try our luck...
