Hotel Atóm Levice — Hotel in Levice

The hotel is located on one of the main streets of "inner city area". First of all, they have a parking lot, which can be accessed for free when you take a receipt from the reception but there are people in a booth only during typical working hours. If you want to get in after dark, you have to wait for quite some time when someone opens the gate for you. pushing a button on a machine next to the gate doesn't seem to attract anyone's attention.||The main hall is quite big and clean, ladies at the reception don't speak any popular foreign language (English, German), they prefer to communicate in SLovak, which for a Polish person shouldn't be a problem, but misuderstandings did occur.||I couldn't pay the total price for a 2-day stay because the lady at the reception informed that they had to "close the month" and I had to make a payment twice on the first and the last day of my stay. ||Although the information on the website mentions the price for a room includes breakfast, I had to pay for it extra and had to choose the time I wanted my breakfast and what I wanted to have for my meal in the evening (menu only available in Slovak). Nevertheless, the portion of food I ordered was generous. However, I had to ask a waiter in a restaurant to serve me butter and milk for my coffee additionally.||The room was clean and the hotel was quiet at night. The room had a TV with quite a few channels to choose from and a fridge and a radio. The bathroom is separate from the toilet room, which is an advantage but overall furnishing and design of a room comes from Comunism. Small beds, balcony door kept closing all the time and window shutters couldn't stay closed if the balcony door was supposed to be open. ||The hotel provides towels and soap available only in a container next to a sink, but no soap/shampoo available in a shower.||Just like the reception ladies, restaurant staff don't speak any international language, although they...

Maybe 10-20 years ago there was not a great choice of hotels in Levice, but nowadays it cannot compete anymore with others renewed hotels. All the rooms are old and the restaurant has space to improve for what concerns place...

Obsluha restaurace je celkem dobra, jidlo je prumerne (prilohy je vice nez jidla). Ubytovani je velmi mizerne, obzvlast za tu cenu, vybaveni pokoje je horsi nez na studentskych kolejich, na pokoji byla citit zatuchlina, vytahy z dob komunismu.
