I have been traveling the world quite a bit on my GAP Year, and this hostel is by the far the best I have stayed in. Located in the City of Nitra, this hostel was just a short walk from the local attractions in the center of town and was located immediately next door to a rather large buy-everything-supermarket. The hostel atmosphere, is what makes this place one of a kind. The two managers there while I was there greeted us with pasta and an evening of chatting, guitar, and some Tekken on the Hostels console. Over the course of my week here, I cooked three of the community meals, sharing the load with others. There didn't seem to be a single moment of my time there where I couldn't find someone who would be willing to play a game of pool or talk or go for a walk. The managers cleaned the entire hostel daily, allowing for barefoot, socks, or shoes, however you felt comfortable. The pricing was very reasonable, and the service (including the breakfast) I received was well worth every cent paid. Although Nitra is not a city many would tourist for a week, this hostel is one that I could call home, with a family, while I was there. I say thank you to all the people...
Read moreWe had such a great stay at this hostel! The atmosphere was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and always ready to give great tips about the area. Everything was clean, cozy, and well-organized — you can really feel that they care about their guests. The location is perfect, close to everything but still peaceful enough for a good night’s sleep. We even won a gold medal at the World Powerlifting Championship during our stay, which made the trip even more special! We’ll definitely come back and recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, good energy, and...

She opened early for me and gave me great recommendations about where to go in Nitra.||The hostel itself felt directly like home, has a simple but clean and comfortable dorm room and a nice living room, with all walls painted with funny picturesy that you can keep looking at. It's only a small walk away form the city park or center (15-25 minutes or so) and that is really worth it compared to an...
