I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. When I get to the room I found out that the bath in the shower was not clean and there where some noises coming from the shower. When I asked the receptionist to clean it she told me that is late and that the chambermaid is already gone and also the owner. That she could give me another room for 1 night but that I has to go there for the next day. I didnt want to move from one room to another so I stayed there. When I took of the towel from shower I found out that it was more dirty then I thought. The hotel is situated next to the church so from 6 am you will hear the bells for several times per hour so forget about the sleep from that time. For breakfast is good that you can ask for ham&eggs or omelette. The thing I didnt like was that on Saturday morning the guy 10 minutes before 10 (breakfast is from 7-10am) told us and it wasnt very nice tone of voice to leave cause he has ti prepare tables for his action. We where sitting in 1 table just trying to finish our breakfast and tea. If he needs that that bad, he could start with other tables and not be that rude. I really didnt...
Read moreMy husband and I booked this hotel last minute while on the road from Poland to Budapest. We had to stop somewhere in Slovakia and found Hotel Polo on booking.com||||We made the booking on the way and arrived two hours later. The hotel is located off the main road in the middle of a housing area (blocks of flats) which can be a bit off putting. But our car was safe in the parking lot plus residential nature of the area meant it was quiet.||||The lady who welcomed us at reception was friendly and although she said she didn't speak English I think she was being modest because we were able to communicate with her.||||The room was adaquate, modern and nicely decorated. No airconditioning though! ||||Breakfast is served in the bar area which like the rooms is nicely decorated in a modern style. A choice of cold and hot food is on offer but was not included in the price. We paid roughly €15 altogether for coffee, tea, bread, jam, butter, frankfurters, muslei and yoghurt.||||Hotel Polo offered exactly what we needed for the night, including free...
Read moreI have stayed at this hotel twice. The hotel is a bit on the outskirts of the city but for me it was not a problem. Hotel seems to be some renovated building and I have to say it has been renovated very well. Hotel looks very nice and modern as from outside also from inside.||Hotel has its own parking place free of charge.||Check-in without any problems. Rooms are large enough with flat screen, nice bathroom both sparkling clean. Wifi is available free of charge.||Also they have a good sound-proof so no problem with sleeping. The hotel is between block of flats so no traffic also. I would maybe prefer higher pillows.||Downstairs is a good bar in modern style and a restaurant. 5 minutes walk is a shopping centre and a fast food chain:)||Maybe the only con is the breakfast, which is not buffet but a la carte style, but I can live with that.||Check-out again with...
