Oasis Prievidza Ltd. — Hotel in Prievidza

We stayed at the Oaza pension after having driven across Europe to deliver my glider for some refurbishment work nearby. Accommodation is on the first floor (second floor to our American cousins) and first impressions were that the place was a little run down. Access was via a metal fire escape type staircase and our room was along a longish corridor. The room itself, although only decorated to a basic standard was quite okay. We liked the lobby which led to the ensuite bathroom. This gave us a bit more storage.||||We then encountered a problem. We had understood that our booking was for bed and breakfast but with no restaurant, breakfast would not be possible. There was a small communal kitchen available for the residents as well as a nice outside patio/deck to the rear of the property which overlooked the adjacent park. The owner of the pension kindly arranged for some breakfast cereal and tea/coffee making for us and we were able to enjoy a simple breakfast which was quite sufficient for our needs. A problem solved.||||In terms of location, it is set between the twin towns of Prievidza and Bonije. It is immediately adjacent to a very pleasant public park which has a cafe where you can get basic foods like pizza as well as, of course beer. A large shopping area is nearby in Prievidza. ||||So will I stay there again? Very probably. When the restaurant is back in service, I imagine that this wil be a very pleasant and well...

Enjoyed a family get together with five adults and four children, we decided to eat outside as the evening was so hot. The service is a very high quality as is the food, the seating area both inside and outside is very nice and relaxed, outside there is a sandpit and other equipment for the children and cooling fans for those hot evenings.||The restaurant is considered by the locals as being quite exclusive and I find it hard to believe anyone would be dissapointed with...

Signorile e Rilassante

Immerso nel verde, Nuovissimo, estremamente pulito, curato nei minimi particolari. Camere spaziose dotate di piccolo balcone e di un ampio e moderno bagno. Ristorante ampio e intimo al contempo, moderno completo di terrazza con cucina gourmet e tradizionale ma sempre molto equilibrata, a prezzi estremamente, incredibilmente economici (sono disponibili zuppe e diversi piatti unici a 2 o 3€) Per chi non volesse usufruire del ristorante, è disponibile una sala da pranzo con stoviglie, 2 frigoriferi per gli ospiti, microonde nonché the e infusioni di diverso tipo, caffè liofilizzato e cioccolata. Annesso alla sala da pranzo un ampio terrazzo con tavoli, con vista sul campo da golf e giardino (della pensione) nel quale volendo è possibile consumare il proprio pasto oppure un caffè. Il costo del pernottamento è davvero ridotto considerato l'ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo: la camera doppia si aggira attorno ai 35€. Per non parlare della comoda posizione: nel verde ma vicino a diverse attrazioni storiche e luoghi di interesse, terme, ristoranti, nonché ad un fornitissimo centro commerciale. Il Personale molto gentile. Unico neo: le mura sono piuttosto sottili e le camere che affacciano sulla strada risentono del passaggio delle auto.
