Apartment house Fatrapark — Hotel in Ružomberok

We stayed in apartment 401K and being on the top floor we had 2 floor apartment. ||The size of the property was really good but unfortunately that’s the only positive we found. ||The property was filthy, run down and not safe and the stairs leading from the first to second floor are a broken neck waiting to happen!||The Fridge was fixed with a sellotape, dirty and only part working. ||The main Front door was unsecured, it had a gap in it at the top, the lock was loose and a good kick would have opened it!. ||The Bed linen was looked unchanged from the previous occupants, was dirty and stained. ||The main bathroom on the first floor smelled, was old and dirty. The Shower doors were hanging off their hinges, the shower mixer ( hot water side was scalding hot and could have caused serious burns), we had to wrap it in a tea towel around to make sure our children would not accidentally touch it while showering. ||Upstairs bathroom was filthy! It had stained walls and floor and smelt.||All the walls of the apartment were covered in blood stains from squashed mosquitoes and bugs that no-one has been bothered to clean. ||The rug in the lounge area was deep covered in hair, filth, bugs and who knows what else. This had been cleaned in months!||On two of the 5 wall lights worked in the lounge.||Unfortunately, we had to keep our balcony door shut most of the time as our neighbours ( next and below us) were smoking very often on their balconies. (Obviously not the owners fault) but it stinks out the apartment BADLY!||This apartment has a great potential but needs a lot of TLC.||We stayed next door in Apartmánovy Dom Fatrapark 2 few years ago and had really great experience there,so we were very disappointed to see how neglected this place was.||As a last resort stay, but not if you have...

We stayed 6 girls in 3rooms app. in fatrapark 1 for the weekend. According to the pictures, description and PRICE we expected nice, decent place to spent a weekend together. ||- we had 2 rooms + couch to be extended for 2 people. The couch for disgusting (not clean at all), and extended version had 3 parts = each one a bit different heights. ||- sheets were more yellow than white||- the light on the whole floor was not working. we were told it would be fixed the next day = one evening with the lights from cell phones when coming back to the room...||- no cleaning services during our stay - we run out of toilet paper = reception told us they have NON and we have to wait until the next morning, or we can BUY tissues||- no soap at all, just an empty container||- app. for 6 people, but 5 mugs for coffe/tea, 2-3 glasses...||||it has very good position, lovely places around to see, activities to do, also in summer. ||||but the service and the status of the room was very disappointing. I stayed here for two nights while attending a conference in the town which is a 20-minute walk down the hill (or 30 minutes if you're enjoying the spectacular scenery). I had an apartment suite that could've slept 5-6 people. It was well equipped and comfortable. The only wi-fi is in the reception area. There's a cable Internet connection but I wasn't there long enough to find out how to make it or the TV work. The hotel lighting could be improved in the corridors.
