Highly recommended. Staff: Helpful, kind, warm and welcoming. Always present and ready to help or just to have a chat.
Rooms: 10 rooms in two floors. €45-50/ night. The rooms are clean, up to date, with comfy furniture. (The mattresses are too soft for my liking, but that’s just personal preference. There’s liquid soap and shower gel in the bathroom.
Restaurant: The food is delicious. Reminds me of my mom’s home made dishes. Prices are great: €7-20/dish. The portions are perfect. There’s a two-lane bowling alley right next to the tables.
Breakfast: Included in the price. Buffet style. There’s everything: fruit, veggies, cheese, ham, sausages, bacon, bread, cereal, jam, tea, coffee, Nutella, butter, etc.
Spa: It’s awesome. Modern and relaxing. Jacuzzi for 4 people. Three different saunas. Relaxation area. Swimming pool - it’s quite small - my guess would be 9x4 meters - but the water is clean and just the right temperature. There’s always fresh home made lemonade for free at the spa bar. €14/day. Bathrobe and towel is provided. There are also sun chairs.
Area: Nothing to see and not much to do, unless you have a car and can travel around.
Massage: Make sure to have one! €25/1h and you tell the therapist which parts of your body to focus on. The therapist is amazing, professional and caring. He went out of his way to provide for my special needs. I felt relaxed and revitalized after the massage. He also showed me some exercises for my scoliosis.
Location: You have to get on a small side street and as you arrive, the last thing you would expect to find is a 3* hotel. But don’t let the surroundings scare you away. They are still constructing that’s why there’s some mess around the hotel.
Overall I had a great stay. The hotel is perfect for 1-2 nights and I highly recommend it as I’m 100% that for this price you won’t anything in the whole of Slovakia that would equal the quality of this hotel.
The following two experiences happened but didn’t spoil my stay. Volleyball court: It’s built right into the hotel. During my second day there was a tournament 10am - 7pm and I could hear the drums of the cheerleaders pounding. I found that a bit disturbing.
The first night there was no electricity 7-10pm. The staff did their utmost though to restore it and they made sure they apologized to all the guests for the...
Read moreThe hotel offered a pleasant experience overall. The reception was friendly and efficient, and the breakfast was equally satisfactory. The hotel’s pool and wellness facilities were enjoyable and well-maintained.
The room had a few reservations. The bathroom had dirty gaps between the tiles that needed cleaning, and the walls were stained and in need of repainting and repair. However, parking was hassle-free.
Overall, it was a positive experience with minor areas for...
