Hotel Gavurky — Hotel in Terchová

I was disapointed with my stay . The list of reason is as follow:||1. In the room a lot of equipment was out of order. The air ventilator in bath didn't work (it was the only ventilation in bath), cover of soap container was premanently open since the locking system was spoiled, hanger for a shower was not present and it was necessary to keep a shower in hand, hanger for towels was so loose that the towels falled to the floor, water tap was leaking. Window curtains falled down together with the hangers when we tried to move them. ||2. When we ask at the reception for fixing what I listed above armchair was replaced, closing of soap container was fixed with adhesive tape and rest was not fixed at all||3. There were dirty spots on the floor, armchairs and walls.||4. Probably nobody cleaned the rooms during our stay since the toiler paper was not refilled, trashes were not emptied and there were no other signs of the cleaning.||||The list of things which I liked is shorter:||1. The parking place is spacy and there was no problem in finding the parking place||2. localization is pretty good. About 5-10 minutes walk from the center make the Terchova easily accesible while it is far enough not to hear the noises from the center. Unfortunatelly the hotel is about 20 meters from main road and alhough the traffic is not very heavy it was difficult to sleep longer in the morning.||||To summarize - for that price in Terchova better offers...

S touto recenziou som počkala pár dní aby som si ju nechala rozležať v hlave, ale moje pocity sa nijako nezmenili. Od januára sme mali zarezervovaný pobyt cez booking - 1 izba pre 2 osoby s manželskou posteľou a 1 izba s oddelenými lôžkami pre 2 osoby. Cestovali sme 3 dospelý a 1 dieťa ale dieťa v 11rokoch je brané už ako dospelá osoba. Po príchode do tohto “hotela” nám bolo oznámené, že máme 1 trojlôžkovú izbu a 1 jednolôžkovú s prístelkou, lebo ako som sa dozvedela to im booking sám spravil. Takže Vám booking zarezervuje dáke izby ale v hotelovom systéme Vám zarezervuje úplne iné izby a hotel s tým nič nemá. Na počudovanie a moje veľké rozčarovanie som sa od druhej recepčnej cez telefón dozvedela, že im jednoducho sedeli počty tak to tak spravili. Veď nevadí, že do 1 izby dajú 3 cudzích ľudí hlavne, že im sedia počty. Samozrejme, náprava nehrozí lebo majú plný hotel. Tak super predstavte si, že cestujete cez pol Európy a v hoteli Vám toto povedia. A keď si pytáte dáku zľavu alebo kompenzáciu tak Vám slečna na recepcii povie , že keď sa Vám nepáči máte si rezerváciu zrušiť a ona Vám vŕati peniaze. Áno presne to sme spravili a vybrali si lepší hotel. Je mi ľúto, že to schytala slečna na recepcii, ktorá podľa jej slov bola len brigádnička. Týmto pozdravujem pána Vedúceho hotela, ktorý nebral telefóny a odcestoval na dovolenku bez toho aby ho niekto kompetentný zastupoval, a ako bonus na plne vybookovaný hotel nechal brigádničku. A ěste aby toho nebolo málo, tak nám zavolali aby sme im doniesli peniaze naspäť a žiadali si o vrátenie cez booking. Just came back from Terchova, Zilina and stayed in Gavurky Hotel for 5 nights. Hotel was clean, clean rooms, clean and fresh bathroom and have wifi. My only minus is that the cleaning lady should came every day and at least change towels. And sometimes wifi didn't work on 2nd floor. Accept that everything else was great.
