Penzion Grosek — Hotel in Vyšné Ružbachy

Great atmosphere created by owner Lady. Really big, refreshed rooms (ground floor) with proper to price standard; with WC separated from bathroom - nice. Quasi kitchenette unfortunately without fridge. No problem in winter when we were there but in summer?||Miserly choice of breakfast menu :(. Tasty dinners in pension and other local bars.||Narrow and small parking belongs to pension. Y can find parking places on the street: quiet and safety.||Y find interesting grocery store (local supermarket in old, original socialism style) opposite side of the street. It isn't annoying and doesn't disturb. Has all items Y need to eat.||Vysne Ruzbachy is bygone and forgotten health resort with interesting history. Today it is small, nice village when time goes slower. Perfect place for rest all year. We was in snowy winter. Y can find both: skiing sports (several ski lifts and ski routes) and and warm thermal waters in pools. Clear air, nice views, calm...

we stayed here during the Easter this year||||+ the people from Grosek were all very kind and helped us with everything we needed (baby bath tub, towels etc..)||+ rooms were clean, comfortable, with TV (but only slovak :)) ||+ free wifi (even it wasnt working so superfast like i know that from home - it was okay :)||+ opportunity to borrow toys etc - for free||+ breakfast was for the price we payed really okay (u can choose one warm drink and breakfast menu - its included in price)||||- the snow at the parking place could have been scooped away||- maybe a bit better informed about the ski area there ||||all in one said, we enjoyed our time there and i can imagine that in the summer there ll be pretty cool to stay again cuz there is a nice terrace, balcony (depens on which room you choose) and u can hang out outside or just chill in front of the door while the kids are sleeping. ||u can also bring your dog there...

We have been there two years ago or the long weekend in may - two persons with the two year old child. generally nice, quite place, very good atmosphere, good food. Most important for us was the size of the room to have enough place for the child to play with toys - that was more than enough. From the balcony the was beatifull view on the mountain.
