Potatoland Luxury resort — Hotel in Šenčur

We would give 10 out of 5 stars if possible! We stayed for two nights at House Desiree and everything was simply fantastic. The accommodation was very clean, beautifully decorated, and full of lovely details. From the warm welcome to the kind words at check-out, we felt cared for the whole time. Even small touches like stickers with sweet messages on the toilet paper and kitchen paper made us smile.

The furnishings and equipment were of high quality – from the mosquito screen on the sliding door and the efficient air conditioning to the very comfortable sleeping arrangements (even though it was a sofa bed). The kitchenware, glasses, and cutlery were all very elegant as well.

Janez and his family are truly outstanding hosts. They left no wishes unfulfilled, looked after our needs with great care, and were always easy to reach. Communication through WhatsApp was very smooth and quick, which made everything even easier. We felt very welcome and supported at all times.

There was also a lovely handbook with a beautiful design, helpful instructions, local tips, and QR codes – prepared with a lot of care and attention. Many extra activities were available: table tennis, games, barbecue, and card games. Janez and his family also offered breakfast and cocktails. The cocktails were delicious – we especially recommend ordering a Gin Tonic!

We had an amazing stay! The host was incredibly kind, friendly, and humble — we immediately felt welcome, also due to the host’s son, who professionally and politely welcomed us and explained everything in detail. The house is in a beautiful location with stunning mountain views and close to the highway, so everything in Slovenia is within easy reach.

It’s a true Smart Home with a 10/10 interior design, perfectly clean, and equipped with top-quality electronics and garden features. You can really tell how much care and attention has gone into every detail.

We’re here on our honeymoon now, but we’ll definitely come back with our son in the future. It’s a perfect place to stay any time of the year — and I can only imagine how amazing it must be during ski season. Truly an 11/10...

My fiancée and I had an amazing stay at this apartment in Šenčur. The host, Janez, is an incredible person who clearly does this job with love, and it shows in every detail. The accommodation is spotless, cozy, and beautifully designed. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi—it was such a highlight of our trip! The option to order breakfast and other extras is a fantastic touch that made our stay even more enjoyable.
