This was (is) one of my favorite restaurants. Located near the busy Ljubljana airport and regional capital Kranj, it offers either a quick lunch for employees from numerous companies based in surrounding business zone or a-la-carte meals for other types of visitors. Modern and moderate decoration with beautiful and smiling staff with a rich choice of food. For sure everyone can pick something by their taste from a wide offer of beverages. However, our recent visit left a bit bitter taste when we chose a seasoned steak and be it medium, just to get it almost raw, dry and quite un-edible. Read moreI had not been to Cubis for some time, so when I needed to meet a friend midway between Bled and Ljubljana, I immediately remembered good times in the past at Cubis. Sadly, on the walls in both of the men's bathrooms are framed pornographic images. People can choose to look at porn if they want in their private lives, but this is inappropriate for a public space since you cannot avoid it. This is unhealthy for men, for their wives, for the women who work at Cubis, and especially, for any male children who need to use the restroom. I will not go back to Cubis any more. Read moreOn our journey up to Holland we were searching for a good place to eat. I wanted real food and a comfy setting for a good short break. There were big signes about grilled meat beside the motorway. I decided to go for it. We found the place fast To times turn right. We ordered something but Alen suggested us a T-bone steak from Uruguay well grilled with grilled vegetables and potato's and fresh herbs. It was delicious!
