Rooms Ravnik — Hotel in Bled

I found this accommodation while looking for lodging in Lake Bled. I wanted to stay somewhere we could get a true feel for the area. This location is close enough but far enough from Lake Bled to get a true feel for Slovenia. It is a perfect hub to visit both Lake Bled and Bohinj Lake. The home is easy to find and there is parking in front of the home. ||||We are a family of three, and for some reason the booking platform required we book two rooms, when one of the rooms had beds for 4. This could possibly be due to our daughter is now considered an adult. So if you have a family, check the lodging's website and send an email to the owner, before paying for two rooms. Fortunately the room rates are reasonable. The two rooms gave us an extra bathroom which mean't it took less time to get out and about in the morning. ||||We stayed on the 3rd floor. The rooms were side by side. There is no elevator so be prepared to take your bags up 3 flights of stairs. Both our rooms had balconies with a peaceful view of the countryside. The weather was perfect, not to hot or cold. The rooms are immaculate, fairly large, and the bed is comfortable. There is a community refrigerator in the hallway.||||We walked approximately 20 minutes to the closest restaurant for dinner. What an experience...walking down a country road in this beautiful area as the sun was going down. ||||Breakfast is an extra charge, which we felt was a little pricey for a B & B breakfast so we choose to find our own breakfast. The owner should charge just a little more for the room and include breakfast. Since we didn't have breakfast on site there was little interaction with the owner. We like staying at B & B's to talk with a local. Unfortunately the owner doesn't speak a lot of English so we missed...

המקום הראשון בו שהינו בסלובניה, כ-5 דקות נסיעה מאגם בלד, ניתן לצאת ממנו לטיולי כוכב.||ההגעה לכפר היא יחסית קלה, היציאה הראשונה לאחר בלד, לאחר הכניסה לכפר המשיכו ישר כל הזמן עד למעבר בגשר מתחת לפסי הרכבת ואז הבית הראשון עם החניה מימין. דרך חשוכה מעט בלילה ולכן פחות מומלץ להגיע בשעות הערב.||לנו שם 3 לילות, מוייצה (Moijca) בעלת הבית הייתה נהדרת באירוח שלה, הכניסה לחדרים היא מצד הבית כך שלא מפריע לאף אחד שעות היציאה/כניסה לחדר, ישנם כ-4 חדרים 2 בקומה הראשונה ו-2 בקומה השניה, העליה לחדרים היא במדרגות בלבד והן רבות, חשוב לבקש מי קומה נמוכה מי שמגיע עם הרבה כבודה. בלילה הראשון מוייצה המתינה לנו בשעות קבלה פחות שגרתיות וייאמר לזכותה שיש לה המון המון חן ואירוח מיוחד ומחמם לב.||החדרים מאוד פשוטים ומציעים מקרר ומיטות נוחות, חימום טוב בחדרים ושירותים ואמבטיה נקיים מאוד. ארוחת הבוקר היא לפי בקשה אישית מבעלת המקום ולא חסר כלום. היא אף נוהגת לשאול מה אוהבים ומה פחות ובימים לאחר מכן לא ראינו על השולחן את הדברים שפחות אהבנו אלא דברים חדשים ונוספים כגון פירות וירקות, סלט בהכנה שלה. גם את הקפה היא מכינה לפי בקשה. המקום עצמו נגיש יחסית לטיולים באיזור בלד ומשם יצאנו לבקר בעמק סוצ'ה, קניון מוסטניצה, אגם בוהיני ושמורת טריגלב ואף יצא לנו לעשות חוויית קניונינג מיוחדת!||בכפר עצמו בהמשך יש מסעדה מקומית טובה מאוד BAPTIST שנתנו עליה חוות דעת||למוייצה יש המלצות על מקומות באזור וכדאי להקשיב להכוונות, אין ספק שהיא הייתה חלק מיוחד ומשמעותי בטיול שלנו. מומלץ בחום!||||The first place we stayed at when we visited slovenia, 5 minutes drive from bled lake, you can take star trips from Bohinska bela.||Its very easy to arrive to village, the first exit after Bled, when you enter Bohinska you drive stright all the way until you pass the bridge of the rails, then the first house to right with the parking space. a little dark way at night so its better arrive at noon and not after dark.||We stayed at Rooms Ravnik 3 nights, Moijca the owner of the place was very friendly and great with her welcome, the entrance to the rooms is from the side of the house so it won't disturb no one with incoming\outgoing hours, there's about 4 rooms divided to 2 floors, every 2 rooms in a floor, to get inside the rooms you need to go upstairs so if you have a lot of baggage its important you ask for the lower floor. in the first night we arrived Moijca waited for us at reception after welcoming hours and it would say for her credit that she did this with a lot of grace and a magnificent smile. very warm and cosy stay.||the rooms are simple and offer a refrigerator and comfort beds, there is a good heating facilities inside the room and a clean toilet and shower. the eggs at breakfest is by choice and nothing is missing, she even asks what kind of stuff you like so next days you will see stuff by your asking and not somthing you dont like. she makes also the salad and even the coffee||the place itself is very accessible to trips around Bled, we visited Sucha valley, Mostanica canyon, lake Bohini and Triglev nature reserve, even had a speciel canyoning experience!||Bohinska itself has a very good resturant - Baptist, also recommended.||Moijca has a lot of recommendation about places around and you should listen and get advice, no doubt she was a very speciel and signifacent part of out slovenian trip!||||very recommended!...

Simply a royal breakfast. We stayed as a family for 3 nights at Rooms Ravnik. Room was quite big, good equipped, nicely, clean prepared. The owner is anyway a hard working lady who cleans the rooms perfectly. But the biggest wow is her breakfast. ||Of course, this B&B has also some small negatives, but non of these can be managed by the owner - they are given by the place (a bit noisy because of train nearby — but the train drives ca 6times a day) but what the owner can manage by her work, is perfect. So back to the breakfast — take your time and enjoy it. Especially the signature dish — porridge. Otherwise, I think that the description is accurate.
