Vaznik Farm House — Local services in Bled

Lots more excellent reviews on booking.com. We stayed for a week in July. It was getting dark when we arrived and it was a bit tricky to find initially. No problem once we knew the way. Ordinary hire car was fine, even in the rain. Peter was a friendly and unobtrusive host. He has suggestions for sight seeing if needed. The apartment in the main house was well equipped and very clean. Be aware this apartment has no lounge area and the TV is in the main bedroom. The 2nd bedroom is directly off the main room. Nice balcony out back. ||||There are toys for the children to play with outside. There are friendly cats and the family dog. The view is fabulous. Make time to take a walk up the trail that goes uphill behind the house. The views are stunning near the top. ||||We used the house as a base for trips round Bled. It was nice to get away from the busy-ness of the lake in the evening. Don't be put off the road up. Definitely...

Just came back after 5 nights in this amazing place! Many thanks to anita and Peter that doing such a wonderful job. The appartment was great for family with children and was well equipped with everything we needed. (Including washing machine and dryer) The view and air gives the filings that you are in heaven. If you are driving there use Google drive and not waze because waze misleading you to the wrong place. Stay in low gear and drive safe with constant gaz when going up the hill specially at night and when driving in narrow spots. My recommendation is to stop in mercator groceries store and buy some food before you are coming because if you want to eat you will need to drive back to bled and after a long day in roads that's the last thing you want to do:) After one drive it's all becoming much easier so don't worry:) No doubt that we will definitely come back! The Vaznik Farm House is the perfect accommodation for a trip to Bled or the Julian Alps. Located a few minutes outside of Bled up on a hill (a very steep drive to get to the farm though) you have a breathtaking view overlooking the valley, seeing both the Karavanke and Julian Alps. ||The apartments itselfs are cosy, clean and large. They come with a well-equiped kitchen and very good free Wifi. ||The best part of the Vaznik Farm House is neither the view nor the apartment but the outstanding host Peter.
