I was part of a group of cyclists from Canada touring Slovenia that spent one night in the Hotel Triglav in early September, 2018. Our ride to Dobrna that day was long and rainy so we were really looking forward to arriving at what we hoped would be a nice hotel. My prayer was answered as the Hotel Triglav exceeded my expectations and I think all my my fellow cyclists felt the same way. The hotel was renovated a few years ago and is very modern (and even had an elevator which was a pleasant surprise). Large, quiet room, well equipped bathroom; very good breakfast and pleasant, knowledgeable staff. I didn't eat dinner in the dining room but those who did said the food was very good. I thought it would be a typical restaurent but lucky for me i was wrong. The menu has lots of traditional items for anyone who wishes to try Slovenian delicacies as well as more modern dishes for the more adventurous diner with dishes including boar, lamb and duck.
