We were staying at hotel Vita for 2 nights. With 50€/person/night (breakfast + dinner and unlimited access to pools) is one of the cheapest spa hotels in Slovenia. |Starting at our room - it was very small (like they would try to fit as many rooms as it is possible to one floor), the bed mattress wasn't very comfortable and the hair dryer was old. On the other side the view was nice, TV was nice and bathroom waa spacy enough.|Employers of the hotel are very friendly (from receptionist to waiters and cleaning ladies).|All the pools need to be renovated. There are tiles missing here and there, showers and toillets have a weird smell, there are leaves in outer pool (I wouldn't mind that if we were there in autumn but it was January, the leaves has already fallen from the trees and just need to be sweeped away) and some od the massage bubbles in inner pool are not working. On the other side, sauna part of spa is one of the best I have ever been to. There are 6 different saunas (steam and dry), whirlpool, resting place, kneipp showers and baths and it is very nicely decorated.|Buffet in the restaurant (breakfast and dinner) is good but could be well improved in taste of dishes and decor of the self-service.|The exterior of the hotel is nice with its park and villas.|If I summon everything, with exception of the sauna, other wellnes ammenities and medicine centre, hotel Vita looks like everything has stopped in the 90's. Terme Dobrna have a potential but it just need to be work on it. But for I am not a very picky guest it was a nice 3 days in...

Read moreHotel Vita - Terme Dobna is not a modern hotel. It doesn't deserve to be a 4 star. We booked a suite room to have more space for our toddler. They gave us an angled ceiling corner room. Bed is terrible. We stayed for 3 nights and we went back home with back ache. No crib available, but the sofa was convertible to a bed. The light behind the tv was annoying. Water from the shower floods the whole toilet each time we shower. The restaurant is like a canteen. Our booking has breakfast and dinner included. They have buffet, food was edible but not as what you expect from a 4 star hotel. Disappointing. There is a bar on the ground floor, they have a singer and keyboard player on that friday evening. The indoor activity area for kids became a back office. They have 1 outdoor pool, 1 large indoor pool, 1 kiddie pool and a jacuzzi. Sauna was closed or we dont have access from our bracelets. The therapy rooms were empty and looks like they are not operational. The park outside the hotel is beautiful. Overall, the only selling point for this property are the pools. Nothing else. The rest needs massive...
