Klub Zlata Ribica — Hotel in Jesenice

The room was perfect for a layover. My husband and I were taking the Old Steam Train early the next morning and we got in about 5 or 6pm. Our room had ample space, a nice kitchenette and a hot tub...we didn't use the hot tub but shower was nice, bed was pretty comfy but the kitchenette was my saviour- it was the first time I was able to eat a decent meal in Eastern Europe being a vegetarian! Everything was clean and neat, from the kitchenette to the bathroom to the room to the exterior..their garden was just so quaint. The staff was gracious and ever smiling, loved their hospitality. Was hiking Juliana trail and second stop was in Jesenice. There is only a handfull of places to stay in this town, and I didnt book anything in advance, so I was really happy to get room here. Room was located in basement, but it was really well furnished. It has seperate room, with couch which was just amazing after long walk. And big screen TV (which took couple of minutes to set the programs - they were not installed). Private bathroom and shower; for perfect experience i was missing only mini fridge....

After we got problems with the car on our way home from our holiday we stayed here. We were very suprised about how the room was decorated. It looks a bit like a hobbithouse with a tree room for the kids. It was very cosy and it made us feel better instantly. The staff is very helpfull and supporting. We had to stay for 3 nights. We can recommend everyone...
