I second the review below. We booked an apartment for 4 people and on the site it would not allow us to choose the amount of guests so the request for the 4 bed apartment came in with one name. There were two of us staying in the four bedroom apartment. At the time we arrived they were pleasant and assisted us with setting up the room and a late check out. They mentioned we reserved the 4 bedroom room for one person and would need to make another bed (there were already 4 sleeping arrangements in the room already made). We were anticipating a pleasant stay.
We woke up to construction at 8am, which the review below shows. When we called down around 9 about the noise, they were aggressive and rude on the phone. When we came down to check out to discuss the noise at 8am the owner began yelling at us about the check in experience (that had already been handled and discussed). They said that despite the noise in the morning they should have charged us more to have two people stay in the 4 person apartment. I believe they feel this is fine as they might be one of the only places to stay in Jesenice. They were aggressive in front of other guests and clearly did not like to hear any criticism at all, feeling as though they are owed 5 star reviews for not charging more for a 4 person apartment for 2 people. It's completely unprofessional and having spoken with multiple other people who have stayed at this "Guest House" have experienced similar abuse from the owner's. I wish them luck with future guests and tourists. They're lucky they have a monopoly on the city for stays, but when this changes I imagine their attitude will have a negative impact on their business in the future.
Thank you for your assistance with the accommodations, but aggression at the end of the stay is not...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of staying at the Ejga Guest House, a beautiful hotel located in Jesenice. The hotel itself was spotless and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. But what truly made my stay exceptional was the food at the hotel's restaurant. The restaurant is a fine dining establishment that serves up some of the most delicious food I've ever had. For starters, I highly recommend the Ejga buger. This dish was packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. For my main course, I had the Ejga burger, which was cooked to perfection and melted in my mouth. In addition to the amazing food, the service at the restaurant was also top-notch. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, and he made sure that we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also very inviting, with warm lighting and comfortable seating. Overall, I had an incredible dining experience at Ejga guest house. The food was absolutely delicious, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a truly special...
Read moreI recommend this place 😊 The room is big (we got bigger room than the one we booked), clean and we had everything we need. The owners are very kind and helpful. You can reserve the breakfast day before if you didn’t pay for it during check in. There is a restaurant on the groundfloor where you can have a lunch or dinner. Also, there are few shops and bakeries near this house. The railway station is just across the street and you can take train to Ljubljana (capital) and many other nice places in Slovenia...
