We had a perfect three-night stay at Farmstay Pirk, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. The place is beautifully located, peaceful, and incredibly well-organized — a true hidden gem in the countryside.

The apartment was exceptionally clean, cozy, and very well equipped with everything we could possibly need. It’s clear that a lot of care and attention to detail has gone into making it feel like a home away from home. Everything was comfortable and thoughtfully arranged.

The farm is also very child-friendly, and our little boy had a wonderful time exploring and enjoying the open space. It was the ideal place for a restful getaway with the family.

Katarina, the owner, was warm, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. She went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable, and her breakfasts — made with fresh ingredients from the farm — were absolutely delicious.

Summary: Pure recommendation for all of you. Unless you are searching for party and beaches you will love it here. Just arrived yesterday and we can already recommend this place 100%. Well and clean run with love by Katarina and her family. The wooden accommodations (great mix of modern and old) are well equipped (we do not miss anything - there is even a sauna) and ecologically run. You can get all kind of local food here including a great breakfast with food from the farm. German, English and Slovenian (+ Italian...) are spoken and special needs will be given proactive attention. The view and the outside area including playgrounds and many animals are spectacular. Ljubljana is less than an hour away and if you like hiking you will get a hiking map (available in different languages). I could keep going here... Just get there and experience it by yourself. We visited the farm with our two children (a toddler and a baby) in May 2025. We had a great time - our toddler could see all farm animals (cows, pigs, goats, sheep, chicken, ...) and we were able to walk around and just relax. There are swings, a slide, and a lot of toys for children. As we only visited the farm for an hour, I cannot comment on overnight accommodation, but I can say the hosts are incredibly kind and lovely. The garden is wonderful, flowers everywhere, and everything looked very clean and tidy. Many thanks to Katarina for showing us around and for the fantastic homemade juice. If we had more time, we would come for an overnight stay. I would recommend the farm to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation far away...
