Kamp Na Otoku — Hotel in Ljubno

We spent a week there in a tent with the family (2 adults and 2 kids, ages 5 and 3) and had an absolutely wonderful time! Some days we didn’t even leave the area — we just enjoyed the camp, dipping in the river, walking along the beautiful paths into town, and fully soaking in the peaceful atmosphere.

Our must-haves for the campsite were simple: shaded spots, direct access to water, and a quiet environment. This place not only met all of these, but exceeded our expectations. It offered great extras like a gas grill, a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy fireplace, grass through out and plenty of toys to keep the children entertained.

The bathrooms and showers were always clean and well-maintained, and the owners were incredibly friendly and helpful — it really made us feel welcome.

Within a 30–45 minute drive, there’s so much to explore: charming historic villages, beautiful forest walks, and even waterfalls.

We had a two weeks stay at the riverside with our own tent, beautiful site and always in the shade, what was really nice in the summer. We really loved everything about it. Busy in the summer season but still such a nice and relaxed vibe, nothing like the big campingsites that are so crowded. The kids could play all day in the stream with the friends they made, and we could cool off in the big river, that also brought cooling down in general. The kitchen and tables were so nice to have dinner of just play a game. The owners are so nice, and always available for questions or anything you might need. Everything was clean.
