I was for the first time in this hotel for four nights. The welcome was very kind. They sent me a car to the railway station to bring me to the hotel. There was welcome gift in the room waiting for me: the typical "pisanica" from Bela Krajina (painted egg) and I got a glass of red wine and some "pogaca", the local white bread with spices.||I was alone, but I had comfortable two bed room. There was no fridge and safe in the room, but the kettle. The bathroom with shower was very clean with some toiletteries, but no body lotion.||The breakfast was very good and abundant.||The staff was very kind, especially Miss Diana at reception, Mr. Primoz in the restaurant and Mr. Gorazd, who came to pick me up at the station and brought me back.||But the price was quite high for the 3 star hotel - in comparison to the 4 star Hotel Slatina in Rogaska Slatina, our famous spa, where I was in August. I had comfortable sinlge room there with mini bar and safe, but no kettle. The hotel also has nice covered swimming pool with thermal water. Breakfast also included. The bicycle free of charge to rent. The free car also brought me from the railway station to the hotel and there were a small bottle of mineral water and some fruits, waiting for me in the room . I paid 16 euros per night less than in the 3 star Bela...
Read moreIt was the second time I have been in Hotel Bela Krajina and I'm very satisfied. Simple, clean, friendly stuff, located in the city centre. I was on a business trip and have stayed for 2 nights. ||Room:||Not very big, but enough. Simple, but very confortable. I liked the bedding. Clean, soft and very warm. More than enough TV stations. Bathroom was very spacy. Shower is not standard 90x90 shower, so you can't move properly inside when you close the door, but it's a bigger one. Again, very clean. ||Restaurant and food:||Modern equipment. Fancy, but not too much. Food selection has suprised me. Not a standard menue, like in the most of the restaurants in Slovenija. Very innovative. Only for breakfast I would wish some healthy food (no vegetables). ||Reception:||Again, very friendly stuff, free WI-FI, planty of informations of the town and surroundings, a warm wellcome...||||Conclusion:||I can only...
Read moreAs a countryside hotel, I think it is an excellent hotel. I don't have much experience with three star hotels, but I am sure this hotel is much better than many three star hotels in Rome or Paris. We stayed in room no. 214 which might be the best and largest room in the hotel. There were two rooms and enough space. For two adults there were too many chairs but better than not enough as it is usually in many even higher class hotels. Everything was very clean what is a trademark of most Slovene hotels. Because of small windows and beautiful flowers on the windows ( a nice tradition in Slovenia) the rooms were a little dark. The air condition was working well and the only thing that we missed very much was a mini bar. Breakfast is simple but fresh. The best in this hotel are bathrooms and very kind and...
