Guest house Pri Rogovilcu — Hotel in Solčava

We stayed here for five nights with our baby. The location is beautiful, the environment is peaceful, and the breakfast was tasty and convenient — especially since there aren’t nearby shops or cafés.

The reason for 3 stars is the lack of transparency around pricing. We agreed on a clear nightly rate, but at checkout we were surprised with additional charges that had not been communicated in advance (crib fees, unclear breakfast pricing). The bathroom could also have been cleaned more thoroughly, which took away from the overall comfort. This created an unpleasant situation that could easily have been avoided with better communication.

For future guests, I would recommend the owners make the pricing straightforward and all-inclusive, or at least clearly communicate extra charges upfront. That way, the experience would match the quality...

An amazing hotel with wonderful apartments. Everything inside the room is made from wood. They also service delicious breakfast with lots of local products. The place is also located on the Slovenian Mountain Trail and it made it very attractive option before hiking to high mountains.
