It is a little hotel which we leave behind after 3 nights with mixed feelings.
The locations is absolutely perfect. The surroundings are stunning and there is peace and quietness all around.
And there is also the first issue. While the whole village is silent, both day and night, excepted by the over active rooster and church bells, the staff is not aware that we are actually there to enjoy this silence.
At 03:15 the bakery arrives and woke me up 2 nights in a row. The very nice cleaning lady is not aware that starting an electrical leave blower at the pool at 6:30 is also not a plus.
The little bit grumpy guy from the breakfast obviously thought I was overreacting. But after some thought he agreed it might be better to ask the bakery to deliver at the back side of the building then right under the open bedroom windows of the guests. I hope they will continue this in the future.
The pool is perfect. But I would really like to swim before breakfast. Because of the cleaning with the robot that was not possible. Place enough for me as well I would say. Swimming til 22:00 is nice though.
We had a room with our own bathroom. Which is already a plus. Because there are also still rooms with a shared bathroom… Never in my live…
Our bathroom was small. It worked, but there is no pleasure in using it. I do not want to hold the shower head in my hands, for example.
Breakfast was good. From 8:00. Could have been a bit earlier, but okay. Is there room for improvement, yes, but let’s give it 4 stars out of 5.
The young lady at the reception was nice and very helpful. Which she needs to be if there are no refrigerators in the room and everybody wants to use the one in the bar…
The other staff members were nice as well, and gave good advice on the restaurant to eat at. We went back for three nights in a row. Check my other reviews.
All in all there are lots of possibilities in this hotel. I think it needs a bit more attention from the owners, which we never saw, and that might be why it could al be better.
They need to be aware of what they are selling. Peace and quiet and service. Now the price is a bit on...

The rooms are outdated and the bathroom is just unpractical tiny. Everything is clean but for the price you are paying you expect abit more luxury and more commodities that come with the room. The Lack of a minifridge for example bothered me personally.
The pool area and the pictures of it are very scenic and beautifull. This is probably what drew you to this hotel, but when you come and sit here to relax , you get eaten alive. What I mean by this , is that the swarm of Asian Tiger musquitos that made the reeds around the pool area their home feast on ...you.
At first, i was so naïeve to think this was a new phenonemon due the super heavy rainfall slovenia had the past weeks, but when i informed the staff, they we're clearly up to date about the problem. I'm no expert on these creatures but i would assume there are small measures that could be taken to help or even solve this problem. Starting with cutting the reeds next to the pool area.
The wifi in the rooms is non-existent
To end on a somewhat positive note breakfast is Very good. Breakfasts would be An easy 10/10 if they wouldnt stop Refilling already at 9.00 (breakfasts is from 7-10)
At the end , this venue is way overpriced and i suggest you spend your money elsewhere.
If Asian Tiger musquitos are unknown to you, i suggest you Google them. It was quite the expierence.
If the rooms get An upgrade and the musquito problem get's fixed this would be An easy 5/5 but...

POOL IS CLEARLY THERE TO ATTRACT TOURISTS, WHERE YOU WILL BE KILLED BY TIGER MOSQUITOES. The staff do nothing about it and laugh it off a bit ( and also laugh at you if you ask about it).
I like to give 1 star, and this one is for the breakfast. Too bad they don't restock, especially when breakfast is available for another hour. Breakfast did taste good, just be on time.
Small rooms, bad plumbing, shower leaked.
There is air conditioning though which made it pleasant. There is no refrigerator, very unfortunate because all other accommodations we stayed at had it. Nice in 35 degrees drinking a hot Coke. We were eventually able to put our watermelon in the refrigerator at the front desk.
Ants at breakfast and in the room.
They charge way too much money for a square meter, very bad. You cannot lie comfortably by the pool because of all the mosquitoes, swim for a while and go back to the room.
What made it bearable for us was the sweet rusty three-legged cat who was friendly though.
Please, find something nearby, but skip this one. If they would renovate and address all the problems this is a pleasant hotel (and please fair prices for...
