You don't get the room you book. Even if you do - you can't sleep because of the noise and smell.
I booked the room using Booking and I didn't succeed to get that room when arrived. I was traveling with my family (2 adults and 2 kids) and booked a two-bedroom suite for two nights. Instead I have got one, very small room where my kids are supposed to sleep simply on the floor (but there was a mattress and additional bed linen) First, the receptionist tried to cheat me saying that this is exactly the room which I have booked. After I showed my booking confirmation, the receptionist tried to convince me that this is a mistake on the booking site and they don't have two-bedroom suites and never had. I suggested to call booking service and ask for clarification. My suggestion was rejected and receptionist offered us two separate rooms, which was not acceptable since we were not able to leave our small kids sleep alone. Then the receptionist has promised us that "tomorrow the boss comes and everything will be clarified, money refunded etc." So, it was 23:00 we had no other choice but to take the room they suggested. Next day we were listening again that this is the room I have booked etc. But after lunch we have been offered to move to significantly bigger room with two bedrooms which accidentally got free just now. It was still not the same room as I have booked, but much better. No money have been refunded, but I have been offered a free beer. The surroundings of the hotel is horribly noisy - the hotel is located very close to the big road with heavy traffic and close to the railway station with quite a lot of trains. The second room I have got has a windows looking onto a huge garbage collection area which makes impossible to open the windows and makes the balcony useless. Rooms overall were pretty clean, but it was difficult to see the pattern on the carpets because of their age and dirtiness. I would never recommend to anyone to stay in this hotel. There are no advantages which worth the money and nerves you...
Read moreWARNING! Absolutely outragous hidden policies just to milk tourists off their money. We are driving accross Europe for business, we book our hotels few hours in advance before we see how far we can go each day. We booked this hotel on booking.com at 6pm, rooms available, free parking etc, everything checks out. We book it and all good. We arrive to the location around 9:50pm and the doors are locked, it says its open from 7am to 9pm , there is a phone number on the door as well as a door bell. We kept calling on both for 30-40 minutes without answer until we decided to call Booking.com. Finally once we get to talk to customer service they managed to point out that somewhere hidden in their house rules section it says check in is only possible until 8pm. I understand that now its very easy to shove that in my face once we were there, but honestly who in their right mind scans thru the entire description and welcome message and what not of a hotel booked on a high way for 1 night. Either way there would have to be a warning on the booking page about this that is more obvious like "check the box if you understand you have to arrive before 8pm" or something!! Drove 800km today, customer service of booking.com did nothing but repeat the same useless information instead of providing actual customer service while the hotel just refused to answer the calls. I am rightfully infuriated by these semi hidden policies made to rob people of their money without service in return. Incredibly missleading, highly unprofessional. Even considering ditching booking.com all together for allowing a hotel to operate like this and for their inadaquate and defensive customer...
Read moreThe hotel gives the impression of being luxurious when you arrive — the entrance looks nice, the view is great, everything seems modern and stylish. But the reality of the rooms is completely different and honestly disappointing.
Our room didn’t even have a proper shower door — the water spilled all over the floor every time we used it. One of the lamps didn’t work. The carpet was old, worn-out, and in terrible condition. The furniture looked so outdated and tired, it felt like it could break at any moment.
What’s even more frustrating is that this room cost 80 euros per night — and that was already with a discount! For this price, you expect at least some basic level of quality and maintenance.
On top of that, the receptionist suddenly asked for an extra 6-euro charge for no clear reason. This fee wasn’t mentioned anywhere during booking or check-in.
It’s clear the owners invested in the lobby to attract guests but completely neglected the condition of the rooms. They feel decades behind and absolutely not worth the money.
I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you expect even basic comfort, transparency, or decent quality...
