This hotel was a lifesaver after a long drive. I arrived after 22:00 and had to call the owner. He told me where I could find the key to my room. I just had to send him a text with my ID-number and I was in my room in less than 5 minutes. This was very convenient and also in compliance with COVID regulations. ||||The owner is very friendly and speaks excellent English and German.||||The room itself was well cleaned and has a comfortable bed. There is free WIFI with 14 Mbps. The shower took quite a while to get warm, but it did get nice and warm eventually.||||After paying in the morning, I could stay as long as I wanted and just had to drop off my key at the reception. Again completely hasslefree.||||Other reviewers have noted that there are train tracks nearby. This is true and noticeable, but with earplugs it was completely fine. There are some small black spots in the shower, but it's not as bad as some people make it out to be. This place was not worth what they are charging. The rooms are very dirty. The entire place smells, there are several surfaces that need a good wipe down, and there is visible mold growing in the bathroom. Much of the room is also outdated, the ac worked but smelled bad and the shower leaked. If you have kids, be warned that the bunk bed provided has no railings to keep from falling off, and the latter is rickety. The room is very tight and cramped. When we checked in, during regular checking in time, the man was asleep and we had to deal with that, afterwards he was fairly friendly. The location is nice, the little town is cute and not far from Ljubljana. There are train tracks right behind the room, but they didn't bother us too much. We had a great weekend away from home at Pri Ančki. The location is perfect for anyone looking to be close to nature and at the same time not far from the city. There are many options for bike routes and hikes close to the lodgings location. The B&B also offers free parking, has and outdoor terrace and a bar.
