Border Close Guest House — Hotel in ǁKhara Hais Local Municipality

We only stayed the one night as we were doing a tour of the Kgalagadi the next day. What a surprising little gem Border Close Guesthouse proved to be. The image of the front of the property that I saw on the Internet when booking didn't leave me with high expectations. But as the car drove into a very nice neighbourhood I quickly changed my opinion. The front of the property is sort of hidden but once inside the gate it is quite delightful.The couple who run the property are a lovely young couple. The room was a bit of a tight fit but was so very well equipped and was so very comfortable. There is a small pool and a lovely outside seating area to relax in. Loved loved loved this place ❤️. I loved the privacy, it was a proper place. My Fiancée, my friend and siblings enjoyed the stay here during our trip to Upington. I am definitely booking this place next I go up there. Loved the manager and his staff. My Fiancée slept so peaceful ✌️ 😌 ey! Plus my favorite part os that I didn't have to wait to get home to finish watching my favorite episodes on Netflix. They have Netflix and a few more subscriptions in all their TV and they can organize breakfast in the package. We had to extend the days of stay because it was so nice been here. I posted a review an hour ago, stating room was clean and that the swimming pool was not available to guests, so now the Owner replies very rudily that they are under new management, and that they do not advertise a swimming pool. When you open Google Maps its the 2nd Photo you see that a swimming pool is on the premises, but just going on the OWNERS RESPONSE, by saying I should have ASKED, VERY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL!
