​In all my years of travelling, I have never been made to feel so unwelcome. My experience here was terrible from start to finish.

​After a long drive, I was hoping for a simple, clean room to rest. Instead, I found an unclean room with a bed that was balanced on top of bricks. The real low point came when I tried to take a shower and found the water was ice-cold.

​I called for assistance and was met by a grumpy lady and a rude man who acted as if I was ruining their night. He struggled to fix the hot water and then had the nerve to suggest it had been working all along and that I was the one who was mistaken. It was incredibly disrespectful.

​The entire experience was so negative that I couldn't even bring myself to stay for the breakfast I had paid for. I deeply regret booking this place and would advise any other traveler to avoid it...

Room had a lovely rustic feel bordering on being dated. The bed was very comfortable and linen clean but lack of attention to detail made me feel I hadn't received value for my money. Wasn't at all impressed by the DStv unit hanging off the plug,lack of bedside plug points was a pain when it came to charging devices. Broken door on "wine barrel fridge" made accessing the fridge troublesome and harzardous. A new coat of paint would do the room wonders and also window panes...

The place is wonderful but what they forgot to tell us when we were making our booking is that there will be some kind of a conference held there the same weekend we would be there.We were booked for 5 nights but ended up booking out on the 3rd night due to the noise of people drinking and fighting for two nights in a row.
