Galaxy Rooms Boston Bellville — Hotel in Bellville

Arrived at 19:00, on Sunday evening. Where told to wait in the car, since there was a double booking. “Day” guests were still showering and as soon as they left they would change the sheets. My father was hospitalised and my sister and mother just needed a overnight stay. I booked through booking.com, where as you will see on the photos it is false advertising and I booked in advance so that my family wouldn’t need to travel far or that late at night to find a guesthouse. Needless to say they where tired and left. The next day on Monday I went to the guesthouse to ask for a refund, as there is no helpline for the booking company and the email given on the sight no longer exists. The receptionist was very rude and the owner on request would not see us. The receptionist now changed her story. She says now that she offered my family the room without a private bathroom to wait in until other guests left. I took photos of the rooms which I will attach. I can’t get hold of the booking provider for a refund. It is unacceptable that booking site advertise places like this, takes your payment and then isn’t available for complaints. I recently had the pleasure of staying at this place and I must say, it was an excellent experience! From the moment I walked in, the friendly staff and warm atmosphere made me feel right at home.

Paper Thin walls, could hear every noise being made by the other occupants. Cockroaches is the bathroom and had two in our room. Woken up by the doorbell, sprayed water full blast from the hosepipe onto the windows in the early hours of the morning, was very loud and could hear the people there shout towards eachother from across the house. There was no checkout time listed and them got spoken to quite horribly when we were there 30 minutes past checkout time. We tried to argue the fact it wasn't listed and we didn't know and the Lady there just argued about how we were late to leaving with such an attitude. Would honestly never go again.
