Long before arriving they already reached out to make sure that my arrival will be well met and everything that is needed from an administrative point will be dealt with already so that I can focus on my stay instead. Before arrival, I'd already received the food menu for dinner to place an early order via WhatsApp. I checked in, and all I needed to do was sign, and drop off my luggage (for which I was asked if I needed help offloading). The owners are very welcoming and informative about the activities in the nearby areas. The rooms are immaculate! Great bed size, modern bathrooms with amazing water pressure, and in my case I even had my own private little garden. During supper time I did not have to wait for the food, my table was already set and the food was as good as placed on my table already. The bar is stocked with ample variety. Breakfast is more than you can eat (or should be eating) and everything was fresh. The ambient music was delightful and a key takeaway from the stay is that in most other even 4-star hotels you get horrible sachet coffees with kettles that taste like plastic, but not here. Here you are treated with great quality Nespresso and a Nespresso machine in each room. Some coming here might find the lack of TV in the room an issue. In my case, I would give it an extra star beyond 5 if I could because of this. When you come to a place such as Arniston to experience the place and the people therein, a TV should be the last thing on your mind. And if you REALLY need to watch something, there's always the free WiFi allowing you to enjoy your own Netflix, Amazon, Disney, or whatever. The one critique if I HAD to would be the milk option in the bedroom. They provide these tiny almost diamond shape long-life milk containers or coffee creamer. Because there is a fridge in the room it would've been nice to have a mug of fresh milk as an option. I understand the extra implications that would have on managing each room's milk and probably why they use what they use and therefore I can't even deduct a star from the review. And I'm sure if it is early enough in the evening and asked for some fresh milk they would provide some. All I can say is Good Job, Keep It Up! And I hope to visit here soon, perhaps with my...

What a wonderful long weekend at Blue Sky Guest house in Arniston! We were gifted 2 nights as a wedding present but we loved it so much we decided to stay a 3rd night. We lounged by the pool in the late afternoon sun, snuggled by the fire in the chilly evenings and explored the wonderful beauty of Arniston and surrounds during the day.

In Arniston we visited the famous cave, walked out to the lighthouse and explored the many rock pools along the coast. The pools hold many wonders and I couldn’t have been more excited to see a baby cuttlefish in one of them! We also visited Cape Agulhas (the southern most point in Africa and where the Indian and Atlantic ocean meet), tasted wine amongst the trees and birds at the beautiful Strandveld Winery and explored the De Mond Nature Reserve (where I found several Paper Nautilis shells!). The area is also a dream for bird watchers!

We loved the friendly professional staff, the beautiful beach chic decor and the courtyard filled with plants. The standards are amazingly high for a little beach town B&B! We just want to go back and do it all again! See you...

Luxurious and spacious bedroom and bathroom. Peaceful setting. Delicious and well prepared meals at resident restaurant, which obviated the need to leave the premises. The restaurant takes great pride in offering a selection of good quality wines and freshly caught fish. The nespresso machine and pods in the room added value. Attentive and friendly owner/s. Overall good value for money.

A stunning venue. Adrian, Jill, Andrew and the staff were perfect hosts and went way beyond what I would normally expect from hosts. The rooms were fantastic and the attention to detail was second to none. The food was outstanding and Tue table service was five star. But to find all of this in the lovely setting of Arniston was the biggest shock. We will most definitely be returning.

A real gem of a place and fantastic hosts Adrian and Jill. Their are 6 double ensuite rooms that are very well equipped. Although no TV's in the rooms their is an upstairs lounge that has a TV with full DSTV bouquet. The bar is very well stocked and drinks well priced. The wife and I will definitely be making a return visit.
