Ich durfte im Rahmen einer Exkursion mit meiner Universität einige Tage in der South Point Guest Lodge in Cape Agulhas verbringen und ich kann mit voller Überzeugung sagen: Es war der schönste und angenehmste Aufenthalt der gesamten Reise durch Südafrika. Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir, trotz unserer großen Gruppe, herzlich empfangen. Der Check-In verlief reibungslos und unkompliziert, was bei solch einer Gruppengröße wirklich nicht selbstverständlich ist. Die Unterkunft selbst ist perfekt gelegen, alles Wichtige ist bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Besonders empfehlen kann ich einen morgendlichen Jogginglauf zum berühmten Southern Tip of Africa. Die frische Meeresluft, das Panorama und das besondere Gefühl, am südlichsten Punkt des Kontinents zu stehen, sind irgendwie magisch. Auch im Nachhinein schwärme ich noch oft von diesem Ort und der South Point Guest Lodge. Normalerweise bin ich mit Bewertungen eher zurückhaltend, aber diese Unterkunft hat es wirklich verdient, in höchsten Tönen gelobt zu werden. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen. Ein Besuch lohnt sich zu 1000 %!

Great location close to shops and restaurants!! Unbelievable location we had a room without a view but it was very well setup with everything we needed. The bed was a little small though and a bit too soft for me, but my partner was fine with it. Would recommend and would stay again.

Hilary is very enthusiastic and she runs a great guest house. The rooms are clean and tidy. The decor is immaculate and there a few choices of restaurants within walking distance. Used this place on a motorcycle tour of South Africa and Namibia.

South Point Guest Lodge is so incredibly lovely. I went to L'Agulhas for my 34th birthday in June, so it's lovely and cool, and you practically have the lodge and town to yourself. It's so peaceful and quiet. It is perfectly situated in the little main road where you actually have views of the lighthouse. Everything you need is within walking distance from each other. The town is so safe to walk in, even at sunset. (Obviously, always be alert and vigilant, but I didn't feel uneasy) The locals in the town are friendly and hospitable. At South Point, we had wonderful and friendly service, and the lodges are equipped with EVERYTHING you need. I would recommend this place a hundred over. I can't wait to stay...

My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at South Point Guest Lodge for 3 nights. Where does one start ? I suppose Hilary, the host. What an amazing lady, if anyone was suited to a business it is her. She was so helpful, kind and a pleasure to deal with. The accommodation: as everyone mentions, walking distance to amazing restaurants and shops and an amazing view. The flatlet was so clean and exceptionally well equipped, even an indoor gas braai (BBQ). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this gem of an establishment, however next time it will be in the upstairs apartment (Hilary gave me a sneak preview of it and it is beyond gorgeous). We can state categorically that South Point is in the outstanding range if not the best we have experienced. Your site is honest and delivers its promise. Every little comfort has been anticipated.
